Bosch 00631200 Dishwasher Drain Pump

Works great with my Bosch dishwasher SHX3AR72UC. Like others have mentioned, not necessary to pull out the whole dishwasher if you are able to lie down on the floor and if your hands are small enough to work inside that tight space. All you need to do is open that front panel on the bottom, and you will see and have access to the pump. Quite an easy fix, even for someone who is not very handy like me. Perfect fit for my Bosch SHX68T55UC/07. I watched a bunch of YouTube repair videos and it seemed easy enough, so I ordered this part. Turns out this dishwasher model is bit more enclosed on the bottom, so only access to this pump was on the right side. At first I thought it was too tight for me to fit my hand in and perform the install, but I gave it a try and to my surprise I was able to turn the old/failed drain pump counter-clockwise to remove it. Then I got this new drain pump in the same spot and was able to turn clockwise to install. (Be sure to double-check you got the pump all the way in so you don't get a leak. After I made my install, I double-checked and I'm glad I did because the far side wasn't in all the way. It was impossible to see because how enclosed my dishwasher is, so you have to feel around to make sure its in all the way.) About 30min of effort and my dishwasher works like new again. With the old drain pump, it had been loud for months and finally stopped draining the dishwasher (posted error E25). This new drain pump is quiet and has no problems. I run my dishwasher on a daily basis, so my 2016 Bosch gets lots of use. I was so happy to find out that I could replace this part myself and for about $25. I can only imagine how expensive calling a repair person would have been.

Exact replacement. Solved the erratic E25 error code. The strange noise went away, too, even though I could not find anything physically wrong with the old one. I found it a bit more difficult to install than I thought it would be, but persistence paid off. Very reasonable price.

I received an genuine Bosch pump. Date code on pump indicated it was manufactured in the last six months. Dishwasher had the E23 code. Installed this drain pump and the code is gone, working like normal.

Perfect fit replacement for the Bosch OEM motor which cost atleast 4 times this one. I replaced it myself (amateur DIY homeowner) with medium level of difficulty, mostly because of the tight space underneath the dishwasher, many months ago and the dishwasher has been running great and it's super quiet self. Would recommend to buy this and DIY replace yourself to save $400 or more that the repairman would charge.

Item: Bosch 00631200 Dishwasher Drain Pump. Sold by Amazon. Shipped from Amazon. Ordered b4 removing old pump so I was suspicious this was not a true Bosch brand part but after comparing the new and old pumps I believe this to be a Bosch brand part. The name Bosch appears nowhere on either old nor new pump. All other markings are the same except the two dot matrix printed lines that likely are coded regarding manufacturing. My Bosch model: SHSM63W52N/01 — FD970800078 (SilencePlus 44 dBA) Came with no instructions. Installed without moving dishwasher (in place). Only removed bottom kick panel, a metal panel, and some insulation. There was no room to spare to grip the pump, push the plastic pawl to allow pump to twist out clockwise (left handed bayonet mount). Fixed my E23 error. Working well for a few weeks now.

This is the 3rd pump I have replaced in the last 2 years. I have always ordered the same part number 00631200. But something to keep in mind now is that they have made changes to the power connector. The picture is the last pump that I ordered. If you look at the item pictures, the power connector opening has changed. So if you have an older unit, you might need to trim the opening to match your original pump to get the power connector to fit. A couple minutes with a Dremel tool and a knife to clean it up and it fits like new and works.
