This graphite paper works great on a black canvas

These sheets do not work very well on a painted canvas. The transferred lines are almost impossible to see despite running over the lines several times.

I traced calligraphy onto a chalkboard using the transfer paper then filled it in with a chalk pen. It worked out great. I used a fine point roller ball pen to do the tracing and I think it would have been easier if I had used a medium point. I would definitely buy this again.

This didn’t work for me. I followed the instructions and couldn’t get a transfer to my canvas. I contacted the supplier asking for more info on how to use it properly.. I felt I was following the directions on the package. No one replied, so I’m disappointed in that.

Save your money. I tried everything possible to get this paper to transfer my small image. I even tried it on other surfaces to see if that was the problem. I wrote the company but no one answers so I am sending it back. It's to expensive to just forget this one. And yes I was using the right side of the paper. But I did flip it and try again just incase. Got nothing. All this paper gives me is an almost invisible mark here and there when I tried to transfer.

When tracing the background needs to be dark for to show up. It does work for my little project that I’m working on now. Not sure if I will purchase more. I just have to keep working with it and get comfortable with it. I’m used to using black carbon.
