Advanced Level Financial Reporting Exam Room Notes 2016

I bought this alongside  Strategic Business Management Exam Room Notes 2016 It really saved me time both before and during the exam. I didn't need to waste hours upon hours of my time trying to make my own set of exam notes, instead I bought this and was able to start on practice questions right away. I then annotated it and supplemented it with other bits and pieces to suit what I wanted (eg. cross references to the question bank).Very easy and clear layout which saves time in the exam too. I didn't have to battle with a frankenstein file full of bodged together notes from every which place.Nearly everyone in my class at a 'big two provider' had a copy of this, which I think says a lot. And I found out today that I passed my exam and besides my own hard work I credit my success to this book! I reckon it's worth every penny.

This is a great book for starting your open book file and building around the notes. I found my tuition provider's notes to be very long winded and not exam focused. So this book helped to provide already written and concise notes, which is a huge time saver.I think these books are definitely worth the investment, especially if you have failed an ACA exam before or felt short on revision time.

I bought this book last week and have used it to do several corporate reporting questions from the question bank since. This book has made everything seem so much simpler. It's easy to use meaning topics can be quickly found and there is plenty of room to annotate meaning you can add any additional points you need or reference past questions in the question bank.

Brilliant book, wouldn't have passed without it. Love the way it highlights tricks the examiner uses

Good for revising as it does contain all the topics needed.Unfortunately the writer has no concept of brevity, and the explanations are so long you may as well just take the thick IFRS book into the exam instead.Also, the inclusion of FS proformas would be useful.I suggest redrafting this book with about 1/4 of the words used on each page.
