Excellent - it’s import to measure your door for correct size
The media could not be loaded. After seeing a similar one at a friends house I decided to get one as I keep my bin near the door it keeps flies out. In fact I ended up buying a second for my sister who was equally impressed. It also allows air flow when door is open but gives privacy too. The tie backs are also useful and many don’t have those.with this blind they are sewn in and just clip together.I love the fact in closes automatically with very strong magnets as can be see from video. Along the bottom are two metal bars. Keeping it hanging tightAfter speaking to the friend who had the one I saw he came and fitted this for me and said he was impressed as the ones they have bought over the years ( they have had two lasting many years only changing them when grubby. ) but he liked the fact that you got a whole roll of self adhesive Velcro to fix it to the door. This meant it held far better than the ones which just have a few square pieces spaced out to fix it. It also came with screws should should wish to fix it that way too. We didn’t require them. From his experience he was very impressed with the quality. We did unscrew the Ring door bell and then screwed it through the material again no issues. It can be fitted on a door opening internally. (as mine is) and externally although in the advertising most are shown with door opening outwards. It’s made of a material which if it does get damp/ wet dries quickly. Both my working Hearing Dog of 20mths and Retired Hearing Dogs 12yrs took to it well with no issues - but should you need to encourage you dog throw a treat though and they will soon be in and out as if it wasn’t there. The cat was the same I just showed him it open and after 5 mins he too was using it with no issue despite his cat flap being right next to door!**Two things to point out. **1. Measure your door carefully and buy the correct size. This stops it dragging on floor or extra creases if it’s too wide. By getting the correct size it looks tidier works efficiently with the magnets coming together .2. Make sure you you clean the door frame throughly with a suitable detergent. This ensures the Velcro double sided tape holding firmly.A useful item delivered quickly and priced reasonably for what was included.

Keeps those pesky flies
Simple and easy to attach. Strong material that auto closes due to magnets afterWorks a treat. Fed up of flies dancing aroud the dog food bowl and around the house.Have left the door open most warm days and not a fly in sight. Perfect!

Does what it says on the tin well. Need to figure out what to do when too long
OK, so this fly screen has proved really effective in my house. I love it and it is still up a couple of months after I put it up with no sign of struggling. It holds it's shape, blocks the flies, closes properly when a person or small dog go through it. It just works. What could be better? Well, as it secures along the top and the sides, there is only so much give in it. As the top is fixed, it parts from the centre, so there is some restriction on how much it will move to the sides. It hasn't been bad, just noticeable if you've had, beads or moving curtains in the past. The second thing is that to get the right width, we had to go for something slightly longer than needed. There is no easy way to deal with the excess. We have rolled it up and stapled it and that works most of the time, but I do wish there were something better. Because the bottom has weights in it, we cannot simply cut it off or stictch it higher up. However, to be clear, this is a keeper for us.

Strong magnetic closure
Researcher ought to be one of my middle names as, before I buy anything, I really go to town on researching the perfect product, read all the reviews possible, filter items to 4* and above, then compare prices. This certainly did not disappoint! And what fun we had fixing it to the patio doors, measuring exactly where each half was going to go to maximise the bug deterrent. Too high on the doorframe and the little critters would sneak under the 5mm gap at the bottom, too low and it would get caught when closing the doors. A couple of hours after unpacking the box, finding sharp enough scissors to cut the sticky velcro tape, and the all important tape measure and pencil my husband stood back to admire his handiwork and I must say what a good job he did with the minimal instructions provided. We can now have the patio doors open without fear of flies, wasps and anything else flying in and annoying us, while enjoying fresh air and a lovely breeze on balmy Summer days. The real test will come when the grandchildren go in and out, in and out - - - - - will the velcro hold?! I really hope so
