Great board. This is the second one I bought. A few reviews stated quality control issues but that has not been the case for me. Additionally, I take care of them and have had zero issues. These are great boards and would make a great gift for families. I can tell I’ll have my boards for a long long time.

Very disappointed. I purchased a cutting board at a very high price that arrived broken. After contacting Amazon who did not provide a satisfactory response, I contacted the seller directly who completely disowned me. Think carefully before you spend such high amounts with such service.

Another great board fron LW Canada. Originally purchased a medium board, then the large 1 hander, then a round board, and wanted to pick up a large standard when they went on sale again. Pictured with the medium which gives you an idea of the size and the color change once the board is saturated and maintained. Checked for warping, board is flat. Beautiful wood, excellent craftsmanship.

Wonderful large cutting board. It is quite heavy and large making it difficult to wash, but is an ideal prep station for anyone with harder knives. I have no doubt that this beautiful cutting board will last a lifetime with proper care.

It’s a nice product but seems like the QC has gone down compared to what I’ve seen on past reviews. If you run your hand across all faces, it’s not sanded down to a completely level surface. Some of the squares probably should have been thrown away as they stand out as being lower quality. The logo on the other side was done a bit sloppy too. I normally wouldn’t really react to any of those things but this board is very expensive. That being said, it does work great and I’m happy with the purchase but I’d probably say you’re better off saving your money and getting a teak end grain board.

Beautiful surface to work on.

I really wanted to like these boards but the first one had developed a crack after 1 week. I hadn’t even used the board yet and was applying cutting board conditioner when I noticed the crack. I got a replacement and after 2 weeks the glue started to come apart. I made sure to be really careful and follow the care instructions. I wanted these to last several years but I was disappointed.

The board arrived covered in a lot of wax which I wiped off. I’ve applied about an entire bottle of mineral oil to it over the last few months and it just drinks it up. It’s much softer than a lot of other edge grain boards like walnut which is great for keeping your nice Japanese knives from dulling too fast. Haven’t had any problems with it. This was my first proper cutting board and I’m very happy with it.
