Good support for mandatory units and Unt 227 and 101
Very helpful for my learner to see what she has to know, but that the answers to questions for Evolve can be much shorter than she believed. Made the testing of mandatory and Unit 227 much less daunting. Most of the optional units covered are not typical of my learners - reception, minutes of meetings and event support aren't really apprentice roles so limited use for me.

This is far too pathetic to qualify as a course textbook!
The amount of optional units included in this book are pathetic and had I known what was included I would never have wasted a penny on this book (I assume that's the reason you don't get the option to have a look inside before you buy). Out of the 12 optional units I am doing, only 3 are included in the textbook. Also, when you consider there are around 53 optional units to choose from in the City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma and you consider this textbook only actually includes 8 of them, you really wonder what purpose the book actually serves. Since it isn't stated anywhere on the page that I can see, this book covers all mandatory units and the following optional units: Unit 203 (B&A 15) Collate and report data, Unit 204 (B&A 16) Store and retrieve information, Unit 205 (B&A 17) Produce minutes of meetings, Unit 207 (B&A 19) Provide reception services, Unit 211 (B&A 23) Understand the use of research in business, Unit 215 (B&A 27) Contribute to the organisation of an event, Unit 227 (B&A 39) Employee rights and responsibilities, Unit 101 (B&A 4) Health and safety in a business environment. Unless you are doing a significant number of these units I'd recommend that you don't bother buying the book.

Fantastic book
I purchased this book and found it every useful, I am nearly finished my Course that I am doing in Administration. I have found that this book has been useful and it explains in more information the answers and you just need to the words in your own words to show your understanding. Would definitely recommend to anyone studying Business and Administration Level 2.

Very highly recommended
I have no regrets getting this book, it was absolutely worth it. It talks about the units in detail and is a very useful tool to use for coursework and exams.

This does not cover the full range of units for the course which I wish it would have stated
Only covers the mandatory units and you can't seem to get a book for the other units.
