I recommend either a non-stick muffin pan and cooking spray. Hard to remove paper baking cups. These were tasty.

So, when I bought this cupcake mix (bought chocolate and vanilla) I was afraid of it not working out as there were no reviews to go off of. Our daughter turned 1 and my husband and I figured we'd be eating most of the cake and it made sense to buy a protein mix as we are watching our macros and following high protein diets. To be honest, when I first got the packages, I acted like the bags weren't filled all the way up and thought it might be a rip off. But disregard that as the recipe calls for only 1.5 cups of the mix. So we had leftover mix from each flavor even with making a whole cake (one layer vanilla, one layer chocolate). It is indeed satisfying like the package states, which was great because then we didn't eat the whole cake in one sitting. Or shall I say most of it. We are used to different protein mixes and enjoy them so the taste was really pleasant for us. I used way more vanilla extract then the recipe calls for but I do that almost anytime I bake with vanilla. I'm very happy with the purchase and would buy again. I'm surprised there aren't more reviews but reviews aren't everything so I'm glad I took the chance. I rarely review products, although I should, which is why I did with this product. What a great buy! 5 stars for sure!!

First the product is very misleading. On the front it says 24 cupcakes on the back it says 12 cupcakes. The batter makes a little more then 12 cupcakes if you use a 1/4 to fill the cupcakes tray. It's bland at first and then you can taste the hint of chocolate on the backside. I followed the instructions to the T and they ended up being pretty dry at the end. I'm giving it a two star rating because they do taste semi like chocolate cupcakes but nothing you'd really want to eat. We threw them out after making them.

Sorry to say I was a little disappointed. The picture looks better than it tastes. I might try to make it one more time. I only made half a package, but it doesn’t seem moist enough or something. I’m just really craving a really good cupcake and this did not do it for me
