For some reason, the builder put a water spout on the street side of the house. I never felt comfortable with it being there as anyone walking by could access it. This lock has put aside that concern. Also, it was easy to install and remove.

Fits loosely and locks, but does not stay in place. It may look like the bottom grips and locks in place but just flounders around.

Fits over my faucet perfectly so I won't have any unwantedwater usage.

The main reason I chose this product was for the padlock, but it has already started to rust. Sigh, why provide a padlock for a water source product that rusts!
