KIDNEY RESTORE CATS & DOGS

My dog (Shiba Inu) who is now 15 years old, had elevated kidney levels for a few years... especially her SDMA and Creatine...I put her on this powder for one container and didn't realize that her values were getting better until a couple years later when I asked my vet office for a copy of her blood test results. I looked back and her kidney values when she was on it and it actually dropped. I put her back on it, and her values became back to normal levels. She was not diagnosed with kidney disease just yet...but my vet was concerned that it was nearing that way. So, don't wait until your dog's kidney become so bad that it might not have enough time to reverse (or basically detox)...this product seemed to help her kidney values while elevated. I have her on this product as well as other non-related supplements. She has mild dog dementia which is a different story and her story is not over yet...partly thanks to this powder. Also, get a different pre,post,pro-biotic for your dog to help aid food digestion to further supplement this supplement...especially a postbiotic...that also really helped added with high quality food.

AMAZON SHOULD HAVE IT VERY SHORTLY. AMAZON WILL BE GETTING IT. YIPPEE UPDATE!!! 4/24/24 I just got an email stating: the New Kidney Restore Cats & Dogs Unflavored Formula is available! Now! on the manufacturer's website. Amazon soon to follow! YIPPEE!!!! Ah, their website shows OUT OF STOCK! Patience Plus! At least they got rid of the old formula. Still no New neutral version? It is now April 9! I happened to find a brand new old version I hadn't opened yet, & it was wonderful to see the old white version formula, no smell whatsoever I could detect. New version coming mid February 2024!!! That's what the told me but I haven't heard from them. This review is only on the updated bacon flavor and is not on the quality of the ingredients or its performance. It is so horrid it ruins the various delightful natural flavors of the very expensive kidney meals--all of them. It overwhelms & ruins whatever meal it is put into. Even if you put in a slight amount, the horrid "bacon" flavor totally ruins the taste & inhibits appetite. My poor kitty has left her dish after putting in only a slight amount of the brand new "bacon" flavor. Why update this product with such a horrid curve ball? It is not fair to kitty to have her delicious meals totally ruined with this ghastly stink. It wasn't this way before they changed the flavor from neutral almost to this horrid stuff. My E-mail was answered by the company which stated that they use other manufacturers who evidently devised this "bacon flavor" & there will soon be options of flavors, including a neutral one, coming soon in the new year--2024. This is an excellent product so I will keep my eyes peeled & wait for a neutral flavor. The company gave me excellent customer service & feedback when I was especially upset. I demanded for my complaint to go to the very top & the top responded with specific details. Hang in there because positive changes are coming & I will opt for the neutral flavor. Perhaps they will add a salmon flavor, not sure about that. They will need to clarify on the product page what flavor it is so we can choose & not be left in the dark. I will gladly change & update my review to 5 stars once I get my first neutral flavor canister. I can't wait! So please hurry.

I was so excited to try the unflavored version of this . I tried giving the old version that was a strong bacon flavor and smell to my cat and he would refuse to eat anything with it. I have tried giving this new version over the course of a couple of weeks, starting out small and slowly increasing the dose. It is thick, I can't imagine mixing a whole scoop into one dish of food for him. This did not seem to help at all. Coincidence or not, he has had a much more difficult time with constipation lately as well as more nausea and of course not eating as much. He was also having days where his phosphorus must have been really high. I just dont think this helped at all. I don't know for certain that it made anything worse but when I stopped and went back to just using Proviable he seems to be more regular again and thus feeling all around a little better. I'm not sure I trust that the ingredients are what the jar says. Furthermore this is not eligible for returns which I thought the Prime logo meant 30 day returns. Apparently I didn't read all of the details. Hopefully this helps someone who missed that part.

My dog was just DX'd with kidney disease two weeks ago. Very symptomatic, wouldn't eat (she's a miniature pinscher so that's highly unusual). Purchased this product, changed to rice & meat diet, lower protein. Added this supplement and she's like a new pup at 15. Still fragile but very improved. When her labs are repeated we'll have a better idea. Given her appetite is so improved, bowel movements so much better, larger, & not dry, eating well, drinking less water, I'd say this product plus dietary change have stabilized a pet headed toward serious dehydration and impeding kidney failure. Time will tell. A proper renal support diet and nutrition are needed, my vet said yes, give this a try, too. Given I saw so much improvement so quickly, without appetite stimulants, I thin this product may have truly helped a lot. Time will tell, but if her labs are better, kidney & liver numbers better, I'll give this a glowing review. She has really turned around in a short time. You have to get a small pet stabilized quickly with renal disease and bowel issues, or they can decline and be in great distress quickly. So far, so good.

Great product I just wish it wasn’t only bacon flavor. My cat won’t eat it unless I mix it into the food.

My 18-year old cat has been diagnosed with Stage 2 CKD. He was throwing up his meals from time to time, which I attributed to eating too fast. Since his diagnosis, I realize this was a symptom of his renal failure. I've been giving him 1 tsp. of Kidney Restore every morning mixed in a small amount of wet food for the past three weeks. He hasn't thrown up since. If this supplement helps his digestion, it's worth it. His appetite is contrary to the usual CKD cat - he's eating almost a 1/2 large can of wet food every morning! Plus a bit of kibble on the side - he likes the crunch. I haven't seen any reduction of litter box deposits unfortunately. There are still three large urine clumps to scoop out every morning. Since he's the equivalent of a 90 year old human, I know he's nearing the end of his life span and I just want him to be able to comfortably enjoy what's left of it.

I realised my reorder has been cancelled....i just reorder the bundle...is there an issue with the order was hoping to receive them. Callie, my 15 yo mix Maltese/Corgi was a finicky eater and was losing control of her bladder and has borderline elevated phosphorous level. I started searching for a kidney supplement found this on Amazon. Her appetite and energy level is back to normal. Also. she seems to be able to hold her bladder and is eating on her own...I had to force feed and spoon feed her previously for over 2 months. I would recommend this supplement and Kidney Shield.

I read good reviews on this product so hopefully it works for my dog. She has been on it for few days. Yet to see any results. So far she doesn’t reject it. I’m also giving other supplements like acacia gum powder , adored beast healthy gut and this mix in organic Greek yoghurt. Beside these, she’s also on fish oil, coq10 and some other supplements. Will update again

My German Shepherd was showing signs of kidney issues and when I took him to the vet’s it was confirmed. I ordered this product right away and started him on it as soon as it arrived. He has been on it for just over a month and the change in him is dramatic. His energy is back, he is eating and drinking normally and his test results are normal. I will keep him on this for the rest of his life.
