I bought this to give as a gift. When it arrived I was so pleased with it and my friend loved it.

Tiny light, tiny battery
The elephant itself seems nicely made. It has a good heft to it and doesn't feel brittle. It has felt on the bottom to hold it in place. The lantern it holds is fully self contained, with a tiny warm white LED and a small solar panel inside the lantern itself. Everything seems to work, but this is on of the first solar lights on my porch to run out of power, since the battery has to be tiny to fit inside the lantern. It is August now, so no idea how it will hold up to rain and cold.

My wife loves this thing. It's pre-assembled so no fuss, no muss. Just turn it on, and the lantern lights as soon as it gets dark. We got this to match the squirrel the company makes and it got placed with no delay as soon as she got her hands on it! Would definitely buy again!

Cute but Small
It is cute. I like it. But I think it's a bit small for the price and what you're actually getting. While the dimensions are clearly listed in the description, I think $29.99 is a bit pricy for a small resin cast sculpture with a plastic lamp. If the lamp were metal and glass and the statue had a bit more weight to it, then maybe $29.99 would be fair. It will look good in the garden once I get it there, though I doubt many visitors will even notice it. Might be better on a shelf or table with some potted plants.
