Fun, Active, and Screen-Time Guilt-Free!
The Nex Playground has been a fantastic addition to our family time. It’s a compact device that connects to the TV and uses a built-in camera to track movements, turning our living room into an interactive play area. The setup was straightforward, and within minutes, we were playing games like Fruit Ninja and Whack-a-Mole. The best part is that it gets everyone moving no controllers needed. My kids, aged 4 and 7, are thoroughly engaged, and even the adults join in for some fun and light exercise. It’s especially great for indoor play during bad weather. The device comes with five starter games, and there’s an option to subscribe for more. Overall, it’s a worthwhile investment for active family entertainment.

Toddler-approved fun that beats the iPad any day!
The media could not be loaded. We just got this playground play system, and my toddler absolutely LOVES it! It’s been a huge win because they actually choose this over the iPad during playtime — a total game-changer for us.The system comes with 5 free games that are super engaging and age-appropriate. There’s an option to purchase more games, which is around $100 a year, but the free ones keep my little one entertained for hours. It’s sturdy, colorful, and easy to use, making it perfect for active play that encourages creativity and movement. If you’re looking for a fun, interactive toy that’s way better than screen time, this is definitely worth considering!

Worth it! Great for families and kids
Such a fun game system! My husband and I were looking for a way to get our kids more active during summer and came across this. Our 5 kids are ages 14, 11, 4, 2 and a baby. Obviously the baby doesn't play, but there are games for the other kids. The annual membership is worth it and the variety of games keeps the family engaged. There are games rated for age preschool and beyond. Starri is by far our favorite game and the 4 year old is better at it than I am. The 2 year old can play it too. Is she good at it? Not really, but it gets her active and she has lots of fun. It has exercise games which has helped motivate my husband to work out and he has lost 25 pounds (not all due to the game system, but having easy access to work outs made him more motivated to have a healthier lifestyle). It has motivated me to exercise more and play more interactive games with the children as well.

Highly recommend. A lot of fun for a wide range of ages
I was looking for a birthday gift for my 13 year old son. Somehow came across this device that I had not even heard of a few weeks ago. I read through the reviews and it sounded like something that was definitely worth a shot for a hard-to-shop for teenage boy with a limited attention span. After setting it up, but before giving it to him, I bought a playground subscription to unlock all of the games and then tested it out with my 3 other sons, ages 15, 18 & 19. It’s fun, engaging, easy to use and has a variety of games to choose from. Some of the games are definitely for little kids, you can hide those in settings if you want. But most of the games are perfect for any age. The arcade basketball is a hit around here, it’s cool to be able to compete side by side to shoot as many balls as you want in a timed period. It became very competitive complete with trash talking. I’ll take it any day over them scattered around the house on their computers. Bowling & connect 4 bounce are also really fun. There are still quite a few more games we are eager to try out, a rarity to get everyone involved in something fun. I’m extremely happy with this little cube. When the older 2 kids were young, we had an Xbox 360 Kinect. That was fun and still probably would be but it’s different in that this tiny cube has way better tracking & recognition abilities. It’s also much easier to set up, operate and get started. Personally I prefer the Nex’s game subscription that includes a variety of good (many licensed from Hasbro or wherever) games. Buying 1 new game for a PlayStation, Xbox, switch etc costs about the same as a 3 month subscription to this system and a year at $99 is about the same cost as a (new)game and a half. Sometimes those expensive new games are duds and it sucks. I never tried the subscription system to Xbox, maybe it was good, but I never saw anything listed that made it sound appealing enough to throw more money at it on top of the purchased games. The Nex adds new games monthly and shows the upcoming titles on the main menu.I highly recommend this for any age, I initially was worried it might be too young and kiddish for a 13 year old, but after actually playing with it there are multiple games for any age. I think the marketing could be a little better to reach out to a variety of age groups. Having it called a ‘playground’ with dopey background music during setup was a little off putting. But I’m very happy I took the risk. Everyone is enjoying it, including myself.

Great for family fun time!
We bought the Nex Playground a few weeks ago, and it’s quickly become one of our favorite things in the house! My kids absolutely love it—it gets them off the couch and moving around, which is a huge win for me as a parent. The setup was super simple—just plug it into the TV, and it was ready to go. No controllers needed, which is amazing (no more losing them under the couch!). The camera tracks their movements really well, and the games are so fun and easy to play.Their favorites so far are Peppa Pig Jump & Giggle and Fruit Ninja. I even caught myself playing and breaking a little sweat! 😄 It’s also great knowing that the games are safe, age-appropriate, and don’t have ads or anything weird popping up.We did decide to get the Play Pass subscription to unlock more games, and honestly, it’s been worth it. There’s enough variety to keep things interesting, and they’re always adding more.Overall, I highly recommend the Nex Playground to any family with younger kids. It’s fun, active, and feels like guilt-free screen time!

Lots of fun. Great idea, great initial product release. Look forward to seeing how Nex develops.
I was skeptical at first but am sincerely impressed. My three year old loves it and keeps him and me moving a lot! Subscription is a little pricey, but they do offer a good amount of games and looks like they are developing more. Would recommend to anyone with children under 14-15 years old, as I suspect by then kids may lose interest, but theoretically could be viable for any age.
