I was honestly surprised by how good this webcam is for the price. The video quality is very clear and sharp, much better than my laptop’s built-in camera. Setup was super easy — I just plugged it in and it worked immediately on Windows.I’m using it for video calls and recording content, and the image looks great with decent lighting. Definitely a great budget webcam if you want something simple that still looks professional.

I teach online music lessons so it's imperative that I have a working webcam, so I bought this as a backup for the Logi camera I mainly use. If this had been available when I bought the Logi I would have only purchased this one! The price is amazingly low, the quality is amazingly high, the quality of the microphone is better than the Logi but it's also 5 years newer than my Logi webcam.I love the privacy flap -- I did have to install it because it's easier for them to ship with it not installed (or they began adding it after the packaging was already designed) but it was easy. Every web-cam should come with such a privacy device that easy and quick to engage.The quality is excellent, the software that you need to install works very well. Plug the camera in and you're ready to go -- the software isn't actually needed for use with Zoom or other online video-conferencing software but it does give us a degree of control for local use if we wish, such as for recording videos in our offices.

So far so good. No complaints.The picture is very nice. Great camera.The mics are probably fine for video conferencing. But I use my camera for live streaming myself painting. I talk some while I paint, and the mics pic up my voice fine, but it’s echoey and picks up my chair creaking and other sounds around my desk I don’t want. I don’t want to say the sound is bad, it’s not, it’s just not ideal for a live streaming or pod cast. That is not really the fault of the camera. You’re never gonna get podcast quality mics that are built into a tiny camera. Don’t get hung up on the audio not sounding like a condenser mic. You should not have that expectation. If you are live-streaming on a budget, the mics work well enough, but I advise to save up and get a condenser mic or lavalier mics asap.Let your camera just be a camera. This one, for my needs, and especially the price, is awesome!

I have been using the webcam for over a year now for video calls and online classes, and it has honestly exceeded my expectations. The video quality is incredibly sharp and clear, especially considering the price. Colors look natural and accurate instead of washed out or overly saturated, which makes a huge difference during long calls.Setup was simple, it has been reliable from day one, and I have had zero issues with connectivity or performance. It works great for both professional meetings and virtual classes. I expected decent quality for the price, but this webcam performs far above what I anticipated.

Very impressed with the 4K quality. I also very much value a camera that doesn’t require software to utilize the tech and this is a simple plug in, and switch over to using it in your native PC settings. Low light performance is excellent, I have a small desk light that it picks up well and has a nice even lighting on my face. The mounting is simple and sturdy on top of my ultrawide monitor and doesn’t seem to move much at all. The microphone is an improvement from my internal laptop microphone however I still use a headset and microphone for work meetings, although probably not entirely necessary since this seems to do a nice enough job for most tasks.

I was super excited to purchase this 4K webcam to help myself have crisper, clearer video chats when teaching online. Since changing from an established workplace to freelance, I had to return my previous company computer, and that left me with my old 2012 HP running Windows 10. The built-in webcam on my laptop is terrbile! At my brother's recommendation, since I needed something better (and since simply using my cell phone wouldn't work for the long-term), I began looking into external webcams. I asked Google's AI to help me find something suitable for my laptop in particular, and somehow this 4K camera came up. However, when it came in the mail and I plugged it in, my computer didn't seem to recognize it at all. No blue light!Anyway, I was beginning to wonder if I'd have to return it, but I had already attached the "privacy" adhesive over the lens and was concerned that this might mean I couldn't send it back. Also, I really wanted it to work! So I did a ton of troubleshooting, updating things on my computer here and there, installing drivers, etc. Nothing worked. I then bought an external USB 3.0 hub since my laptop's hubs aren't powerful enough for a 4K webcam evidently. Plugged everything in. Still, nothing!Then finally, I asked AI for recommendations regarding that particular webcam and my specific laptop, once again. The final recommendation it gave me was to "install Native EMEET Software." I had read earlier that everything would be supplied automatically as soon as you plug it in, but it turns out that's not always the case. I went onto the website, and there's a place listing "downloads" where you can get the needed software for either Windows PC or Mac. So, I downloaded the Windows one ... and voila! At long last, after installing that software, the camera worked!Apparently it's still not perfectly displaying in 4K, but no matter! The quality is is a step down from that, since my computer cannot quite support 4K. What it can display though is still a MASSIVE upgrade from what I had before! The low-light performance is excellent, and you can adjust the camera settings (contrast, saturation, etc.). I've never used an external webcam before so to me this is pretty cool. Plus, I can always use this camera on a newer laptop whenever I'm able to purchase one, and then I can have perfect 4K. But for now, attached to the laptop that I have, this camera quality is still beyond "good enough"; it's great. I'm glad I didn't give up and send this back.So it's completely worth it -- just know that if you have an old computer running Windows 10, you might have to jump through multiple hoops first before getting it to work. ;)

The top of the box was sealed, but the bottom was already open when it arrived. Although the product appears to be brand new and works perfectly, I noticed dirt on the stand and the back of the webcam, which was disappointing. I waited more than 10 days for delivery, so receiving a product in this condition was frustrating.I am not returning it because it is functioning properly, but I hope Amazon pays more attention to packaging and product handling to ensure customers receive items in proper condition.This version keeps your positive experience while clearly highlighting the packaging issue in a professional and credible way.
