All tools needed are on their website under support. Emails is best way to contact them.
I have used these adapters for cameras for years. If you have a slow connection you are probably on a bad electrical line with many connections and/ or a long distance from the paired device. When I moved into my new home I set up things up to make it run more smoothly, it would be better to have the two adapters on the same line. So I tapped into the line that led to the computer why I put the other adapter, and put in a receptacle in the basement on that same line and added 3 cameras to the Wi-Fi end of the paired adapters, and next to the computer I put the adapter with single network cable port. I have had zero issues since and super fast speed. I have seen a complaint about the plug placement, you can also attach the adapter to a 6"-12" grounded extension cord, that should help. There are some network tools on their website that will help add more adapters. I would email tech support when your ready to do this or call, once they walk you through it once you will be able to add as many as needed. You will have a tool to download and plug the adapter straight to the computer, rename all the adapters and check a couple of boxes. you would have to do that to all of the adapters. So get the help from tech support. I hope this helps. This is a great device, TrendNet has great cameras as well. POE injectors.

Easy setup
I've been using the non-WIFI Trendnet for years and needed a WIFI to get the signal out on the deck for the TV. Works great. My regular router was ok but this gives me 5 bars and no delays.

Terribly slow
Speed test results are from Ookla.PC connected with wifi to router in art studio where the fiber entrance is - 499/496High end laptop in the kitchen - ethernet to AP port - 43/44High end laptop in the garage office - ethernet to AP port - 10/26All wiring is on the same electrical panelLooks like return time.

Works like instructions says it should
used in older home to deal with some problematic interference areas. single wifi router was unreliable in three zones of house. this product (used kit plus two other transmitters) to set up separate wifi zone in each area. the powerline system works pretty well. I get two zones that nearly equal the main wifi zone in terms of bandwidth. the third zone only gets about 50% of bandwidth but that is much better than before. the big thing is the consistency is much much improved.

Works well for wired connection. A bit confused about WiFi
This is a dual function unit. It is basically an addition to the trendnet family of powerline adapters, with a Wifi amplifier built in as well. We are using it for both purposes in a location that is distant from our Router. It was extremely easy to set up. One of our other trendnet units is hard-connected to the router and plugged into the house wiring system. That unit is limited to 2g. That signal is readily picked up by this unit, and we can connect a Roku Soundbridge (Remember that?) by wire to that unit. We are also using it to generate a strong wireless signal in that same room so that our phones work smoothly. All fine, so far. The wireless signal appears to be limited to the 2g signal, and not to the 5g as well. At the router, the two wifi signals have different names, but this unit seems to name both of them the same, and not transmit the 5g signal at all. And yet, the 2 and 5 indicator lights are both lit on the unit. So, it is working very well as a 2g Wifi, which is really all we need, but I am puzzled about the 5g component.

Great signal
Using 3 Trendnet AC adapters already, added this one because WiFi signal was weak in back yard and back of house. Now getting 5 ghz in the most difficult places.Very easy to install once I realized the LAN light doesn't come on with wireless. Plug it in, press Connect on two units, boom. Ethernet AC adapters get a bad rap. Once they work, they seem to be rock-solid stable.

Ethernet jacks poorly placed
Its three Ethernet jacks are poorly placed, on the top of the unit rather than on the bottom. As a result, Ethernet cables plugged into them tend to block the top receptacle, even though the unit itself doesn't necessarily block the top receptacle. To use the unit with three Ethernet cables plugged in and with a power cord sharing the receptacle, I have to jack the unit an inch from the wall by plugging it into a power tap and then use a flat plug on the top receptacle coming out at a an angle away from the unit. See photo. It looks really big. It's about the size of four iPhone Plusses stacked. Granted, it's way less expensive than four iPhone Plusses.I've heard audible hissing coming from the capacitors or coils of the unit, such as can happen in all sorts of electronic gear when the electronics engineers are not conscientious. The unit's web console says absolutely nothing about the powerline interface, other than to display the MAC address of the powerline interface. Thus the web console does not show any HomePlug diagnostics. It doesn't show a matrix of how well each HomePlug node sees the other, as it easily could. The above being said, I bought a second unit. The two units are installed in opposing corners of the house to give solid Wi-Fi coverage. They're assigned common SSID's and passwords on both the 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi interfaces.

Good product
Wanted to strengthen wi fi signal for TV. Could not get to clone with router but it did send the signal with its own encrypted password. Like I said it is just for the TV and works great for that. But remember you need another unit to pair it with attached(hard wired) to your router.
