EZLucky Manual Coffee Grinder, 5 External Settings, Ceramic Conical Burr

While it is intended for coffee beans, I actually use it to grind chia seeds, and it works exceptionally well. I hate chewing whole chia seeds because they always get stuck in my teeth, but swallowing them whole without chewing means you really only get the fiber. Stomach acid cannot fully break down the hard outer shell, which leaves out a lot of the vitamins, minerals, and especially the omega 3s. Grinding them first solves that problem completely so your body can absorb all the nutrients. To make things even easier, I attach a screw gun to the top to speed up the grinding process. If you want a simple and effective way to get the most nutritional value out of your seeds, this is a fantastic tool for the job.

This is a nice little grinder. I live in a tiny cabin so space saving is important. I also live in a remote area of Montana where power outages happen a few times a year so I decided to get a manual unit. My actual need was to grind Potassium tablets or other supplements that are hard to choke down. This grinder did that nicely. I understand that the tablets are harder than coffee beans but not by much. It would be great to take camping if you like fresh ground coffee! I'm very happy with this product!

I have an electric coffee grinder with a hopper like at Starbucks with an adjustable grind setting. As a coffee snob, I like the finest setting possible so the coffee is like dust... it gets the richest flavor out of the coffee. Last week, the city's power went out for 3 hours and my electric grinder wouldn't work... fortunately I had enough to make a cup by boiling the water with a gas flame. I vowed never to be without a manual grinder again, hence the purchase of this lil jewel. This manual grinder does the same job as the electric but it grinds by human power... perfect for power outages and camping. The container that catches the ground coffee is small... it's enough for one cup of coffee when full and I guesstimate it took about 40-50 rotations to fill it with ground coffee on the #1 (fine) setting. The manual grinder has 5 settings; 1 for my favorite dust (rich, flavorful coffee) and 5 for course (which is more like tea than coffee). I'd give this grinder a 5, but I have big hands and the knob for turning is too small. When I turn the knob, I hit my knuckles with every rotation... but aching knuckles is better than no coffee in an emergency, grid down, caffeine-needed right this very moment scenario. A taller knob would be better and I may just replace the knob on this manual grinder. Great grinder for the money!

Actually surprised by this little thing. It's small so I can take it with me and grinds pretty easily. Grinding on 5 is a little coarse and uneven, but grinding on 1 works perfectly for an auto drip. You'll never get a fine espresso grind with this thing, but it's good for just like a Keurig refillable k-cup. It feels good quality and sturdy. I wish the handle was a little shorter so it didn't take so much to turn it, though. It also seems like a pain to clean inside all the cracks and crevices inside. This works well in the beginning but it breaks fast and you can’t clean it well. Worked for 3 months before needing a replacement recommended the Kingrinder p0 of your going to get serious

It does not appear to be damaged but will not grind. I can’t get the handle to turn and can’t find anything lodged inside to make it stuck. I can’t take it apart. To return it I have to drive to Whole Foods in another city. I am massively annoyed and couldn’t give this piece of cr.p a low enough score. Thanks for nothing

Great buy for the price! Grind quality is so much more consistent than my cheap electric grinder. I use the 5 setting for my french press and the 2 or 3 for my drip coffee maker. It's small capacity, so good for personal use, travel or camping. I've been using it daily for a few weeks and hasn't let me down yet! If I drank more than a cup or two of coffee a day, I might invest in something fancier. I saw a couple reviews saying they had issues with the grinder slipping from the small grind size to larger size, like you set it at 1 for a small grind, turn the crank and it slips to 5. This issue can be easily solved by holding the main part of the grinder at the top, above the part with the numbers, rather than holding it at the bottom. Overall, this is a great little coffee grinder for the price.

I have a job that's going to put me out traveling a lot. Anytime I stop In the city I like to buy a bag of artisan coffee and use that instead of going to the coffee shop, It ends up costing about the same. As you can see, the device fits in both parts of the aeropress perfectly. Which is very nice for travel. Pros While it takes a little bit of time to get what you need compared to an electric grinder, but it works well and evenly grinds. It comes in two parts so it's pretty easy to use. While a lot of grinders show 40 levels of grind, I wanted something that was not gimmicky, between level 5 which could work in a pinch for French press, and level one which works for aeropress quite well, it really doesn't seem like the adjustment steps being so fine is a necessity with A device like this. The build is solid and I'm sure it's easy to clean. Cons This one isn't so bad, if you are on a finer grind you need to be sure to hold the adjustment in place. The force required to turn the wheel if your on anything below level 5, will turn to level five. Luckily, my partner is a little bit more interested in pour over and level 5 looks like a very good grind for that.

Purchased September 24 2024. Writing review October 8th 2025. (About 1 year and 1 month later.) I have been using this grinder every day for the past year to grind beans to make coffee in my Bialetti 6 cup Moka Pot. (Note that the capacity is not enough to fill the coffee grind chamber in a 6 cup Moka pot, and requires about 1.5 loads of beans in the top to fill a 6 cup moka pot.) All in all, I am happy with the product for the money. Good user experience comfortable to use and hold the fine-course settings work well, however the 1-5 course-fine settings no longer seem to work. I always used on the middle setting (3) but now even set to the finest setting, it grinds extremely coarse, and there seems to be no way to tighten anything up to restore this function. In sure after the wear and tear of use for about 365 days has taken its toll, but just know that it will last you about 1 year if you have similar usage to me. I will be upgrading to a slightly more expensive manual grinder, and hope for a longer service life. Look for my review there too haha.
