The sound quality isn’t as bad as I thought it would be for the price point, but do not be delusional and expect studio quality. The microphone itself has good quality, as it has held up. Performance wise, the limit will rely on your phone- it isn’t battery powered and is only powered by your phone. The size is very small, as advertised. This is very easy to use- just plug it in and go. The only thing I will add is that when the microphone is plugged in, you will not hear volume unless you also plug in headphones. So if you don’t plug in headphones, you’ll need to disconnect when watching a playback. I’m happy with this microphone overall.

Cute mic that actually works great. I use it for videos and the sound is clear. Plus, the gold color looks fancy. Love it.

It is easy to use and works well. Remember to read the instructions first because I thought it wasn't working, but then realized I had to unplug it to hear the recorded audio. It does catch some background noise but not much. Has a good audio quality.

I’m genuinely impressed by the quality of this microphone, especially considering the price. The sound is clear and crisp, making it perfect for voice recordings, ASMR, or casual use. For such an affordable device, it exceeds expectations, and I hope its durability matches its performance. So far, it’s been a great buy!

UPDATED 11/2017 Ithe company had awesome customer service and after reading my review, offered to refund and replace. I received the new order and tested it exactly as before. On androids and iPhone, one mic covered and then switched, took adapter in and out...recorded with both mics directly up to my mouth and then away, NO DIFFERENCE. I also tap on both (as you would a sound check) while recording..nothing. Requested a refund. Not reordering. Cannot recommend. Sorely disappointed. The new pic is uploaded also. I didn't even unravel it this time. Had a feeling it wouldn't work. Could be our phones, I guess. But I don't think so. Original review in September 2017 Unfortunately, this lapel has not work for me. I have tried it off an on for over a year to no avail. I have done all kinds of tests, with and without the mic plugged in. I have covered up one side and tested the other (only to discover that one side doesn't work at all). The other side seems to simply pick up my normal external phone mic sound. There is literally NO difference between the two audio tests. I am using a simple Galaxy S7 with the jack that came with the set. I have scoured youtube for answers, downloaded all kinds of apps to try it with. Still nothing. In order to do my recordings I have to borrow someone's lapel which is crazy frustrating! The only reason I gave it a star at all is because of the awesome long cord. IF it did work, and both sides ACTUALLY picked up audio, it would be perfect for my interviews. We could sit comfortably apart. But since it doesn't..I think this is headed for the trash heap. I am SO disappointed in this product. Pictures are of the product featuring the long (tangled) cord...the mic with and without spongehead and the adapter added that came with it. Again, disappointing at best. Should something change, I will update accordingly.

It's compact and easy to carry, making it convenient for on-the-go recordings like vlogs or interviews. The plug-and-play setup worked fine with my phone, and the sound is clear enough for basic needs. However, the audio quality isn't as crisp as I hoped. There’s a slight background hiss, and it struggles to pick up voices clearly if you’re not speaking directly into it. The build feels a bit flimsy too, so I’m not sure how durable it will be in the long run. For the price, it’s okay, but it might not meet the expectations of those needing higher-quality audio.

When this dual microphone arrived I did a test. I put my Android phone on a tripod in my office and stepped in front of it as if I was being interviewed from about seven feet away. The first test was me speaking in a normal voice WITHOUT the external mic. You could barely hear my voice. Next, was also without the mic, but I was speaking very loudly to project my voice to the phone. On playback, you could hear me better but it was "echo-y" (because of the room) and you could tell I was straining to be heard. Last, I popped in the microphone and tried speaking in a normal voice from about seven feet away. I used one mic and left the other one about 3 feet away on a table. I then switched mics and put the first one on the table about 3 feet away. (I was curious how much the other mic would pick up as if one person was interviewing another) PERFECT! Both mics sounded as if I was about two feet from the phone, with no extra noises at all. I'm looking forward to using it in a real recording situation. I would recommend this microphone to anyone.

Excelente compra, funciona súper bien, se escucha súper nítida la voz. Mi única queja es la esponjita que viene para el micrófono, el agujero para ponerla esta muy chica y al querer ponerla se me rompió, no es necesaria honestamente pero para que ustedes allá en casita tenga más cuidado que yo.

I liked everything about it except the fact that the mic cover "filter" is very loose. I will lose it one day :( I am not sure if it is something that I can buy separately in case I lost it one day! But, in general this is a good product and worth it.
