Compact, Sharp, and Built Right
The CIVIVI Folding Utility Knife is an excellent little cutter. It flips open easily and smoothly, making one-handed use simple. The long cutting edge is a big plus. It handles everything from boxes to heavier packaging without feeling cramped or underpowered. It’s small enough to disappear in your pocket, and the pocket clip works great for quick access. It stays secure without being bulky or uncomfortable to carry. The build quality feels solid and well-made, just like you’d expect from CIVIVI. This is a perfect everyday utility knife for anyone who wants something compact, sharp, reliable, and easy to carry. I’m really happy with it and definitely recommend it.

The Best Folding Utility Knife
If you're one of us weirdos that doesn't obsess over blade steel and probably use your knife 99.9999% of the time to open packages, then this is pretty much the best knife you can get. I was using $7 Milwaukee Fastback folding utility knives for the last 3 years. With as much cardboard as I was cutting, I had to sharpen my nice knives constantly. So much so that I was wearing through expensive (various CPM alloy and tool steel) blades and getting them replaced. Now I buy the Stanley carbide utility blades that hold up for a long time before I wear through both ends. I had been trying out nearly every folding utility knife out there with a button lock, but they were all junk compared to the Milwaukee. I had bought other Civivis in the past and they've always been great folding knives. So when I saw this had a button lock, I had to try it out. This is now the king of folding utility knives. Pros: - Button lock means you can open and close it very safely with one hand - Smooth pivot action, no extra "wrist" to deploy and falls shut - Strong lock-up with no play - Standard utility blade fit - Pocket clip is correctly designed without protruding hardware inside the clip area - Just about all methods of deployment supported (except automatic) - Blade is retained with a small screw: The blade has NO movement inside the holder and feels like a real knife. Other utility knives use a spring retainer that allows the blade to wobble around. If you're unfamiliar with or don't regularly use Torx screwdrivers, maybe this is an extra hassle for you. Cons: - While I can use the knife with most gloves on, the body of the knife could be a tad larger to make it easier for outdoors applications. The blade holder doesn't need to be any longer, though, so it would be a little off proportionally. - There's a small ledge below the blade as a part of the rear of the holder to keep the blade from spinning. If that was extended about 1/4" farther forward, you could use it to "choke up" on the blade with your index finger without risk of cutting yourself (which is the only feature I miss with the Milwaukee). People using utility blades don't often need 3/4 of the length of the blade. - I wish the thumb stud was easier to remove as I don't have a use for it, but I think the knife should still come with it

Amazing EDC utility knife
Great value for $50 price range! Has all the features you come to expect on the best EDC pocket knives, while offering the benefits of a utility knife. This is a heavy use option, cut anything without the fear of damaging your high-end pocket knives, simply swap out the razor blades when needed. Comes with ‘flipper’ tab and button lock, two options for smooth effortless deployment. This pocket knife includes great retention and zero blade play out of the box. Better cutting surface than standard utility knife because a huge section of the razor blade is available for cutting. This is an incredibly durable and versatile tool that sits deep into your pocket thanks to the reversible pocket clip. Civvi also eliminated snag points associated with blade replacement features, that other companies overlooked. The design team has outdone themselves with this affordable offering.

Very neat
I actually love this. I’m not a huge pocket knife fan so I really need to see the value before I’ll pay $40 for a utility cutter and this is.. nice. It looks cool, the finish on the plastic is super smooth. It opens super easy and the closing is just as smooth.. I guess the only improvement would either be a different locking mechanism to change the blade or at least some sort of stored key inside the handle. Not a huge deal to me I have plenty of them at home and would only change it at home.. I don’t carry box cutter blades around with me so I don’t & couldn’t even change it on the go if I wanted to. But it would still be a little easier. Ordered SK2H blades in black to go with this black cutter and it’s gonna look nicceeee. I may actually keep this.

Premium EDC utility knife!
Hands down the best EDC utility knife I’ve ever owned. I’ve carried some kind of knife since childhood, and I’m 51 years old now. After using this one, I immediately ordered three more. The build quality feels truly premium — like if BMW or Mercedes-Benz made a utility knife. It’s lightweight, extremely smooth to operate, and feels very well engineered. One of my favorite features is how much of the blade is exposed, making it much more functional and practical for everyday use. If you’re looking for a solid EDC knife, you’ve found it. Blade changes are simple and take about 60 seconds using a single screw. Once installed, the blade feels very solid and secure with virtually no play.

Best EDC razor knife I have tried - I tried many
I really love this knife. I carry a knife every day and use it constantly - for opening Amazon packages, gardening, and cutting rope. In the past, I always hesitated to hand my knife to my wife, since she’s been known to run it through dirt, scrape it against metal or cut tons of cardboard, leaving me to sharpen the blade afterward. And yes, she’s done all of that. With this knife, I don’t have to worry. I can simply swap out the blade for a 15-cent SK2H razor. The action is smooth and easy, the knife is lightweight yet solidly built, and it feels great in hand. Perfect size for edc. It can be opened with a single hand - with either you thumb or index finger. My only gripe is that a tool is required to replace the blade. I have other razor knives that allow tool-free changes while still holding the blade securely. If this knife had that feature, it would be perfect. It requires at Torx T8.

Practical Daily Carry that Combines Style, Stealth, and Simplicity
The CIVIVI Folding Utility Knife Box Cutter stands out as a highly practical tool, seamlessly integrating into daily carry routines. Its design is both functional and stylish, offering a discreet profile that doesn't scream "knife" while still maintaining a fashionable edge. One of the standout features is the ease of blade replacement. The mechanism is user-friendly, allowing for quick changes without any fuss, ensuring you're always equipped with a sharp edge for whatever task you encounter. The action of opening and closing the knife is exceptionally smooth, contributing to both safety and convenience, making it a pleasure to use throughout the day. What makes this knife my go-to for everyday carry is not just its utility but its overall design philosophy. It strikes an ideal balance between aesthetics and functionality, making it as much a statement piece as it is a tool. For anyone in search of a reliable, fashionable, and practical everyday carry utility knife, this CIVIVI model is highly recommended. It's worth every penny for those who value efficiency, style, and discretion in their daily toolkit.

Excellent, but wish it had a bit of fine tuning
The tab-style opening mechanism of this knife is terrific. I prefer this to the flick-open style of the others, and it seems like the CIVIVI is the only one that does this. That said, I think they could've done a little better on the closing mechanism. Sometimes it closes too hard and bounces out so you need to reclose it. Sometimes it doesn't close all the way. The button is a bit fickle. If it was just tuned up a little bit and had a toolless blade change, it would be the perfect knife. Still, excellent, 5 stars. I think the FLISSA is the best of the knives pictured, but this is a very close second.

10/10 Civivi
La calidad de Civivi es muy bien, y este modelo en particular es muy práctico, te permite cambiar la navaja y existen diferentes marcas que venden diferentes repuestos, Excel te opción si trabajas con materiales que desgasten el filo muy rápido.
