I had a long road with recovery from Achilles and ankle surgery due to my incision opening the day after the sutures were removed. Hence, I was bound to weekly appointments at a Wound Care facility and changing the dressing daily for 3 1/2 months. During that time, I had limited weight-bearing due to the surgical wound being on the back and bottom of my heel. There was nothing I could wear on my foot which did not cause stress (and pain) to the wound area, including the prescribed post-surgical boot. On a whim, I purchased these sandals thinking I would likely be sending them back as I had with others. I am able to walk (carefully) now with zero pain or discomfort! I am impressed with how supportive these sandals are on my other foot as well. They are so comfortable and well-made! I only share all this personal information on the chance that there may be others who find themselves in a similar situation. But even if not, I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a nice pair of sandals.

They are not joking about the thick soles. When driving with them, I had to scooch my car seat back a bit, otherwise the pedals were too close to me. They fit as expected, and the Velcro straps are great for adjusting the fit.My one issue is the same one I have with all backless sandals… when walking, I have to constantly pay attention to them or my feet will come out of the sandals. It’s an inherent issue with these types of shoes. Tightening the straps on these does help, but it’s always on the back of my mind.So for me, I wouldn’t use these for an outing where I’ll be walking around all day. But they are great for going to the beach or pool, or for shorter trips. And aside from having to focus on them not coming off, they are VERY comfortable to walk in.

I’ve suffered from planter fasciitis for many years and have gone through several different pairs of ortho, heel slides and sandals. They are good but also expensive at $100 plus a pair. Thought I’d give these a try….well worth the money. Just received them So not sure how they will hold up, but initially they are very comfortable!

I was really pleased how much support these have and how comfortable they are. I will be ordering another pair as a back up soon. I would highly recommend these to everyone.

These shoes are well made. My first reaction was the amount of supports they have on my feet arch. They don’t stay on my feet as well as my Crocs and they have slipped off trying to walk backwards. They are attractive and stylish.

Within 30 minutes of wearing I knew that I had finally found the around-the-house sandal that I needed!I have hot feet, plantar facitis and a very bad back. I have tried many other sandals but nothing covered all the bases until now. Slip-on, slip-off but with great arch support and cushioning. Hallelujah!

The size is American sizes .

I'm old and comfort and fit are very important. These work well.
