I should have purchased this sooner.
It made cloning my drive easy, fast and convenient. Connecting the drives to my computer was fault free.

Constantly disconnecting IN THE MIDDLE of all Transfers
BEWARE of this unit. As others have said, this device looks good but is really junk. Every 20 to 30 minutes of a large file copy all disks just disappear from the directory. I wish I had paid more attention to the to the other reviews. Yeah - this is going back. Amazon is supposed to quality stuff. Not Ebay or Temu! Another chinese product. Sorry folks I now have one disk that I cannot recover which really makes me mad!

Love this hard drive docking station!
What a great way to easily access files and stay organized (physically) with such big bulky drives! Took apart some old computers and this was such a convenient way to access the files on a laptop and easy to swap out! 5 stars for the time saved and because it works perfectly!

Works as designed. You do need a top quality USB cable, and you'll need cloning software to make it work correctly.

Excellent tool for backups and offline storage that easily retrieved
I picked this up to help with the transfer of data from drives that I removed from old and obsolete PCs before I junked them. These drives are SATA drives that I had in my previous PCs, so they act as archive backups for that data. Sometimes I need to access that data, but it doesn't make sense to take up space on my active PC for data I may need once or twice a year. This docking station is an easy way to make that data available.This system was very easy to setup right out of the box. I just needed an empty USB slot to plug it in, and an empty socket on the power strip, and I was up and running. The PC detected that drives without any issues. It was very easy to plug in the drives and eject the drives when done accessing them. It is a relatively small form factor, so it easily sits out of the way until needed.I've also started using this as a way to backup to a larger capacity SATA drive, and it makes it SOOOO much easier to be able to plug in a SATA drive and fire off a backup!Full disclosure - I didn't test the clone operation, but when I do, I'll update this review with my observations.Overall, I'm very happy with this docking station, and I consider it an excellent addition for anyone looking to improve your data backup an retrieval architecture.

Workes out-of-the-box
Got 4x 3.5" hard drives working at once, super easy, didn't have to install any software.
