Merrell Men's Accentor 3 Hiking Shoe

I’ve put these Merrell Accentor 3’s through a few long hikes and they’ve been nothing short of reliable. The fit is true to size, with just enough room in the toe box without feeling sloppy. The cushioning is supportive but not overly squishy, so my feet never felt tired even after hours on rocky trails. The traction grips well on both wet rocks and dry dirt paths, which gave me a lot of confidence on uneven terrain. They’re lightweight, break in quickly, and look good enough to wear off the trail. If you want a dependable, comfortable shoe for hiking or everyday outdoor use, these are a great choice.

These Merrell hiking shoes are very comfortable, lightweight, and sturdy. Previously, I had a couple of pairs of Keen Targhee hiking shoes that were great and waterproof, but quite heavy. They were great for longer hikes, or in wet environments, but overkill for ~5-mile day hikes in dry California weather. I was also pleasantly surprised by the fit. I expected them to be a bit small, and I almost ordered a wide version. I'm glad I didn't. The normal-width shoes I received have plenty of room in the toe, and the toe box is plenty wide. In other words, these shoes run a bit large, which worked out perfectly for me. I've only used these shoes a couple of times, so time will tell how well they hold up. That said, I'm very impressed so far by the quality and comfort of these shoes.

Good quality shoe, larger-sized toe box. Padded toungue and with the thick breathable fabric layers-these feel like slippers. The heels are narrow in comparison to most hikers, so I’m not sold on ankle stability-but overall a very comfortable shoe. Easy to fit my thick prostep inserts into these

Comfortable but slippery. It's like walking on ice on wet floors. I bought these because my old work shoes had worn down and were losing their grip but these I think are worse to walk in when the floor is wet. Edit: they aren't waterproof as described. Learned the hard way.
