Just bought the chocolate brown SNAIL SAKK mail catcher after our 6 month old lab pup decided to eat our post every day! I was worried the mutt would instead eat the mail catcher but NO! He's not even looked at it nor wondered where the post goes each day! For a dog who literally chews EVERYTHING and anything and who is very inquisitive, after 2 weeks he's made no attempt to bite/chew or pull it off. Very impressed with this and thoroughly recommend. It looks neat too and is easy to retrieve the post from the side opening. Heavy magazines are no problem either, very spacious.

I'm in a private rented property with a front door that is not wooden so my options for something to catch the post seemed limited. I needed something because the dog found it tremendously enjoyable to snatch the post as it came through the door, and chewing up our wedding certificates was the last straw!I bought a standard post cage to hang on the back of the door but after one night all the stick on hooks I had used to secure it had peeled away and the ones at the bottom had snapped under the extra weight. I was about to resort to screwing into the door (which would have upset the land lady) when my dad spotted this product on Amazon.At first I thought the price seemed excessive for what the product was, but in hindsight, the price is more than justifiable.The packaging was clever, the instructions clear, all pieces present, and even a bonus ruler-magnifier-letter-opener combi-tool included.The Snail Sakk is of sturdy quality, the chocolate version suits well to our dark wooden effect door, and the sewed edges come up high enough to stop post falling out of the sides, but do not impede getting the post out when you get home at the end of the day.The velcro strips that come with the product have a very strong sticky side which has held far longer than my previous attempt with the door cage, and do not budge even when I have needed to pull the velcro back a bit to retrieve larger items of post such as catalogues and Amazon packages.The Snail Sakk, being a sack after all, allows for movement and I have not come home to find newspapers, packages or catalogues have pushed it away from the door or the item unable to be delivered due to impediment. Something I'm sure would have been an issue with a rigid cage.I cannot recommended this product highly enough, and we have been 2 months without any chewed post now! If you have a dog that likes to nibble your post or any other reason you want to catch your post, this is a fantastic option which requires very little effort.

needed something for my front door that opens right into living room, their is a cowel but if you look through you can see into flat, so thourght this was a good idea, could be a little cheaper tho, anyway was super easy to install, and cathces post, easy to access, no one can see in now, only thing is never sure if theirs any post in it so consatntly checking, maybe should have got one with a kinda window or frosted plastic slit? anyway overall nice

I live in a ground floor flat, the door with the letter slot is in a hall I use for storage as I use my other door as the main entrance. I was sick of having to crawl over stored stuff to pick my post off the floor so I bought one of these, an alternative to those old fashioned post cages, as like many I have a uPVC door. Works a treat and holds a surprising weight of post including large letters and small packages.

Easy to fit and does the job very well. Even my local newspapers drop fully into the capacious bag. Gone are the days of struggling to open the front door when returning home after a break or holiday. Highly recommended as this item exceeded expectations.

Looks ok but Amazon are generally premature in asking for a review in that any purchased item. Should be given a “running in time” to assess the performance. This is not the case and a judgement is requested prior to a sensible time assessment. Seems a good buy but as stated premature

Ingenious invention - no more dog-shredded post! This product is of good quality and very easy to fit - no fixings which will damage a UPVC front door. My dog has now lost interest in the post as she can't see it - she is quite happy just to bark at the postman now! I would thoroughly recommend this product.

I was looking for an alternative to the traditional wire cage, as I didn't want to ruin my front door trying to fit it. The Snail Sakk™ is the perfect solution. I ordered it a couple of days ago, it arrived yesterday and I fitted it last night. It only took a couple of minutes. Today, my mail was waiting for me in the Snail Sakk™, precluding me from having to painfully bend down to collect it from the doormat.In an added bonus, it's very windy at the moment and my letterbox usually bangs loudly in this weather, but, since fitting the Snail Sakk™, my letterbox has been silent. I would definitely recommend this product.
