What size is the connection that hooks to the hose?

Both connections on the plunger are 1.5 or so they say. If you have an upgraded filter like I have the intex 2500 gph pump it has large hose which intex considers a 1.5. If you go to a hardware store 2inch fittings will screw on the hoses. Also both sides of the plunger will fit those intex larger hoses.

Will these work on a coleman brand pool?

I am not familiar with the specifics of the Coleman pool. However, if the suction and return line tubing are appropriate size (please make sure your tubing size is compatible, it will save a lot of grief)), these are fantastic valves. Very high quality with smooth, silent plunger action.

Will these work with the 2650 gph salt water sand filter and pump set up? help!!!!
