I have these to keep my sunglasses from falling in the river or lake when I lean over...they just work! I like how they do NOT rest on my ear, which I think makes them more comfortable to wear.

I wear these all the time for sunglasses mostly. I find I frequently need to remove sunglasses for variety of reasons on the trail or while driving in my car. Worst thing is when I remove sunglasses on hiking trail and lay down on a rock or something and walk away without putting them back on. I've had to retrace my steps to retrieve the sunglasses so many times.
