This small travel compass is perfect to stow away during outdoor trips. This is clipped to my backpack straps and is able to be out of the way but also easily accessed to verify direction of travel. The cost is worth it as it is well made and functions well. The face is also easy to see in the dark with the glow in the dark bezel.

For its cost this is amazing, and it fits on all NATO watch straps, you may find it tight on others. It would not fit my Pro-Tek watch strap. It indicates north but can be easily put off by electronics around it. but at a push and if you are in need it will work. I personally have a full compass for map reading, this is a great addition to most watch straps, and it often start's conversations with other people.

item received in good condition & was nicely packed as well...am pretty happy with the GoCompass & everything seem to work fine as it should be...finally can re-live my childhood days for compass on a watchband strap...
