TeraFlex 3990650 Jeep Differential Cover

This is a really nice cover and the cost is reasonable, looks good too.Not sure why people are breaking bolts. Hand tighten them and you should be fine.

At first I wasn't sure about these. I wasn't thrilled with the idea of the logo being sideways. Boy, was I mistaken. It looks amazing. The cover is very solid and the It's heavy, as it should be, to protect your diff.. These are a fantastic aftermarket replacement. I would buy them again.

The differential cover is thick and heavy duty can probably take a great deal of abuse and has many useful drain plugs.....the only reason I give this a 4 star rating is because the bolts they include are very cheap and and if you over tighten them even the slightest way they will break off at the head..... Come on tera flex your charging me a 100 bucks for this product you can at least toss me some grade a bolts

Buyer be ware! The hardware that comes with the cover plate is garbage. The bolts have the markings for grade 8 but they will definitely brake off before they reach torque - 20foot lbs.For what teraflex charges, there is no excuse for that! I will never buy another teraflex product again.

No overhang issues on rear diff 06' Jeep LJ. Used with a genuine lubelocker gasket. Keep tightening in the recommended pattern a bit each time and the hardware was just fine.

Great product and solid quality, slammed it on a rock a few weekends ago and you can’t even tell it. Also added a few oz more gear oil.

Rigid cover. Like others said, cheap hardware. Snapped bolt heads very easy. Customer service unresponsive to email. Lost some stars Dennis!!! Not cool bro!!! Lower drain plug had small seep until cranked down a lot. Honestly, shouldn't need instructions, which they don't provide. But if hardware is snapping, it makes you wonder what torque spec Teraflex is asking of those bolts.Uodate***Drain plugs leak without use of RTV.
