Perfect Travel Pack - Perfect Price Point
I purchased this backpack for a 2 week trip to Europe. As a woman, I typically overpack, and am short on space. Knowing that I only had one pack, I did pack lighter, but this bag held everything that I needed comfortably, offering many different pockets and pouches, along with appropriate straps to secure the bag while on foot. There are 4 places to legitimately pack clothes and shoes, along with a number of zippered pockets. I was able to pack approx 12 shirts, 4 pants, 3 shoes, cosmetics, undergarments, and my iPad. I am 5'3", weigh 110lbs, and the pack was very comfortable to carry. Weight distribution seemed to be on point. I have used it for two trips since going to Europe, and it has yet to rip or fall apart. Good quality. Great space and storage options. Definitely a great price point. A bag like this would typically set you back about $100-$150, but I paid $40 on Amazon - Excellent purchase! Would recommend for a weekend trip, or backpacking adventure!

Well Worth the Price
We just got back from 2 weeks in Italy - this is the only piece of 'luggage' that I brought - my son brought this too. We had to hike up a significant distance to one of our overnights. This is by no means a fitted, hikers backpack - but it was VERY comfortable for what we used it for - hauling 20 pounds of our daily 'stuff' - clothing, toiletries, guidebooks, cameras, etc.... I am 5'4" and 120 lbs and my son is 6'1" and 180 lbs and the pack did fine for both of us. A little big for me but not too much and a little small for him but not too much - the size issues did not result in discomfort even when fully loaded. The pack is extremely lightweight and at first I thought it might not make it two weeks with the abuse we would be giving it. I figured it would essentially be a 'disposable' pack. But honestly it held up great and I will be keeping it and using it again for sure. The waterproof cover is a luxury not to be expected in a pack this price. I would absolutely buy this pack again.

Awesome for travel
Love this back pack. Have used it to travel around the world twice. Small enough for a carry on but big enough to hold a few days worth of clothes. Lap to insert inside is super useful. Awesome organization. Rated it a 4 only because it's not as breathable in really warm weather. I was walking around in Singapore for 8 hrs and it the back pack made it extra hot.

Amazing over seas pack , carried right on !
On the plane to Tokyo as we speak ,got through dia and lax carrying this bad boy on packed pretty tight . I plan on using this for going around Tokyo for a few weeks which will consist of some backpacking though Nikko. So far I am astounded on how high quality and efficient this pack was made . I will edit this review if it breaks down or anything bad , but all smiles so far !! Great waist belt , the chest clips are flexible material too so really gives a nice feel. The back frame really holds up nice but dont over pack or it gets weird . If you want an amazing pack that you can carry on overseas ,this is the one!! It meets USA and Overseas carry on and there was a reallly small connecting plane . Buy away without fear !

After 7 months, the zipper broke.
*****UPDATE....No more that two days after posting my first review but the second zipper broke off. I am so disappointed, I loved, and I mean LOVE the design but the quality is crap.Review May, 14 2017 I bought this 7 months ago and I loved it! I use it almost every day because the design was so functional. I used it in Disney World, multiple plane rides and was planning on using it for a few camping trips this summer. However, a week ago the zipper broke. One came off and the teeth are broken. If you want a backpack to last, don't buy this one.

Couldn't be happier with our purchases
My boyfriend and I each brought one of these backpacks as our only luggage for a month-long trip in Europe. Couldn't be happier with our purchases! Not only were we able to neatly fit three pairs of shoes and several changes of clothes, there was plenty of room for books and small gifts we picked up along the way. Survived pouring rains in France and Italy, and several buses, planes, cabs, and boats. Well-built with lots of easy-access pockets for passport, keys, phone, wallet, and I love how you are able to adjust the straps to wrap a jacket or picnic blanket at the bottom or top of the bag. Really a versatile piece of luggage that I will always cherish and continue to use!

Excellent for an emergency / bug out bag
I needed to prepare emergency bag for hurricane season. I decided on this one based upon the reviews, size, and color. I wanted to make sure I had something bright enough that I could easily locate it even in dim or dark lighting, and would immediately know it was mine. Kind of like NOT buying black suitcases because everyone at the airport has a black suitcase. This is well made, and I like having waist and chest straps. It holds a ton, and I felt prepared to easily find whatever I needed whether I used it sheltering in place or as a bug out bag. This easily held:first aid kit (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01G45DWOK/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_62)stormproof matches (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZZJHCDC/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_11)emergency radio (https://www.amazon.com/Esky-Weather-Powered-Emergency-Flashlight/dp/B01GRJZ1LK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1508696645&sr=8-1&keywords=sky+solar+radio)multipurpose tool (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071WRMYR3/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_2)disposable washcloths (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071NZG9H9/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_9)container for washcloths (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CPTXF24/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_33)firestarter/whistle (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B016UWWS2O/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_60)whistles (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZZJHCDC/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_11)water purification tablets (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001949TKS/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_64)food and water for me and the cata couple changes of clothes, and a waterproof jackettwo laptops, two iPads and a phone, plus chargersetcI am very pleased with it.

Tries Hard but Falls Short
I can't wholeheartedly recommend this product because it tries to be so much but falls short in virtually every area:- The breathable back isn't that effective when the backpack is full- There is more space than other backpacks, but it's poorly utilised space - you have to balance stuff at the top of both compartments- The main compartment doesn't open far enough, rendering this effectively a toploader (especially with part of the compartment taken up by the laptop)- The strap padding is poor and the waist strap does not give enough support to take the weight away from the back- The waist pockets are too small to be easily usable (even a set of keys is a struggle, but doable)- The backpack is not comfortable - it sits low down on my hips (I do have a fairly short torso though)- There is no integrity to the backpack - when half empty it collapses, and when full it wobbles all over the placeBut on the plus side, the laptop compartment is excellent and easily fits my large work laptop with big battery that juts out the back. And the integrate rain cover looks good, although I've not yet used it.For comparison (I'm a fussy backpack user) I've been through the usual 'Miltec molle-style' backpack, which has less space but compensates with a fully-opening compartment, sturdy structure, and detachable bottle holder. And the Osprey Farpoint 40 has a good laptop compartment and seems to have a lot of space that is quickly eaten up by competing compartments pressing in on each other when full. But it's also got an excellent and comfortable waist and back support. The search for the 'perfect' backpack that can fit a large laptop, 2-3 days of clothes and is supportive on foot and bike continues...

I hear for a good time, but probably not a long time
So I bought this bag for a 3 week trip to Colombia because:a) I didn't want to spend a largish amount money (£50+) on a bag i would only use for 3 weeksb) It was super cheapc) It looked like it had loads of compartments (and well if i'm honest i'm a sucker for a zipped compartment)d) I thought it would be quite funny to see how much of it broke after the 1st week.Well imagine my shock when after 3 weeks of hurling, dragging, tossing and slinging this bag around everything still worked. It was even comfortable to wear and had a rain proof cover zip in the bottomIMPORTANTI am not saying you should take this bag to Everest. And I'm not sure it's going to make it round that 6 month trip you're planning through Mexico.BUT if you want a super cheap, comfortable to wear bag then this is your guy. Oh and the back my friend bought for about the same price. The zip broke after 4 days. For those that are interested this is what i managed to pack inside:- 10 t-shirts, 7 pairs of pants, 7 pairs of socks, 1 adult male hoodie (with hood), 1 pair of trainers, 1 mosquito net, 2 pairs of sunglasses with cases, 2 books (700 page, 400 page), 1 x ADULT NORTHFACE jacket, 10 condoms, 60 pairs of contacts and a rape whistle (you never know right).

Very nice back pack
This was bought to replace another that was faulty (not from outdoorMaster), it was a little cheaper than the faulty bag so was not expecting any extra quality or space.... however after receiving this the next day i was very pleased to see improvements and plenty of room compared to my previous one, more straps for securing your items and plenty of zipped pockets, this is just a review of this "out of bag" product, time will tell what the quality is like but at first glance im very impressed and sure it will stand the test of time

Great Pack
This bag was wonderful. We took it on a two week backpacking trip across seven European countries and it was great. It has lots of space and its a really good quality. We both had the same one and we would recommend.

Great day sack and for DoE stuff
Used it for a trip around Pen Y Fan, perfect day trip bag. Had all waterproofs and emergency kit, which was easily accessible. Was bought for my son for his Duke of Edinburgh award. He thinks its comfortable and easy to get on and off. Not really got it wet yet, so will reserve judgement on that for now. The bright waterproof cover will help there.
