Finnska Sugar Free Black Licorice, 1 Pound Bulk Bag, Sugar Free Candy, Soft Chewy Licorice

Great taste. Good deal for sugar free.

I was surprised when I got my licorice because it says it weighs one poun, so I thought it would be much larger. However, I tasted it, and was happily satisfied. It’s real soft and chewy, with a true black licorice flavor. The flavor is a bit intense, so I’m going to take a real long time to eat it, as I want to enjoy every bite slowly as possible.

I love licorice, And have consumed FINNSKA black licorice for years. Now that I am prediabetic I decided to try their SUGARLESS black licorice. This licorice is made with MALTITOL SYRUP as a substitute for sugar. This product looks like licorice, it is black like licorice, and very chewy. HOWEVER THERE IS NO LICORICE TASTE AT ALL IN THIS PRODUCT. THE MALTITOL LEAVES A VERY DISTINCT SLIMY FEEL IN YOUR MOUTH. I was very disappointed with this purchase. I know FINNSKA has a good product and this one needs work.

The licorice arrived in a sturdy box and were fresh and delicious. It was a pound for about $17 which isn't a bad price at all. I chose the sugar free option, but they were still sweet tasting. My only real complaint was that they are extremely chewy, which means they were constantly getting stuck in my teeth. At times, eating them felt like about 30% of them was getting stuck in my teeth. Aside from that, the flavor was pretty solid and they sort of scratched the itch I had for licorice.

These taste very good.

I have tried a number of different sugar-free black licorice. This one is by far the best! It is soft, does not stick to your teeth very much and the flavor is out of this world!

HAMPTON Vendor: Cheesy packaging - non-resealable plastic bag with leaky seal. Not fresh tasting. Normally (from SWEET GOURMET Vendor) Finnska sugar-free Licorice is so good it's a challenge not to eat too much and give yourself the runs - as any sugar free candy would do. From Sweet Gourmet it arrives so Fresh it creams and Melts in your mouth. Not so from Hampton. Disappointed.
