The E11 socket is too deep for the bulbs to make contact at the tip, so these were useless for me. This maybe a problem of the LED light bulbs that I purchased (also from Amazon. See light bulb description below). The light bulbs measured 9/16" from the tip to the top of the base, and 7/16" from the tip to the last thread. These adapters are deeper than that. The product description says E12 to E11. The picture shows E11 to E12.This product is not to convert E12 bulb to fit into E11. It's the other way around. E12 will not fit as it converts E11 to E12.

This did the job. Couple of them would not tighten the bulbs completely but kind of loose....you have to find the sweet spot and it will work.

I don't know if it was a cheap design or just a consequence of the physical limitations where it fits, but the bulb fits sloppily in the thing. If your bulb has no long thread it may not actually screw in and stay. I had to remove the rubber piece to get enough engagement to retain the bulb. But even so the bulb moves around inside the adapter. Will never buy these again.
