Nuts com Whole Walnuts in Shell, 2 lbs – Fresh Unshelled Raw Walnuts with Buttery, Nutty Flavor

These are buttery tasting and smell great when you open the shells. I have ordered them a few times and have always found them to be fresh and tasty. I used to look forward to the holidays as walnuts in shells are abudantly available then, but now I can order all year long. My whole family eats these and we use them as occassional treats for my parrot. I feel confident about feeding them to my parrot and the whole family using them as healthy snacks. I read about how opening nuts to eat helps with reducing stress and slows down eating so you feel the fullness rather than eating fast and being over full. I really think it helps as someone will pull out a bowl and fill it up and we gather around talking while cracking open the walnuts and digging them out of the shell. They are always fresh and taste great so we do snack on them often.

The nuts came quickly and they were excellent! Actually, I'm speaking for our squirrel here, as he didn't turn any of them down and he came back for more. I liked the packaging very much. That should help in keeping the nuts fresh. Thanks for NOT disappointing us (i.e., me and the squirrel).

Beautiful walnuts

The nuts are exactly as described--buttery, sweet, and fresh. They are also easy to open. Yes, a nut occasionally is hard to open or is dried up; it happens but only rarely.

Best way to get my walnuts now. Easy storage in the resealable bag. Better than junk food.

Really good and fresh! Nice big size bag. I ended up roasting them on the dry stove and popping them open with a butter knife. Gave the house a nice smell. This was my first time trying them and first time roasting them. It was really easy to do. They were a healthy delicious snack. Did find a few bad ones, but not many. They were dry, no mold. I feel like it’s to be expected. Can’t really crack all of them open. Still worth the price.
