Let me start by saying this tincture definitely helps with what I wanted it to…but be prepared to taste fire and sadness😂 No I’m kidding, it’s not that bad but you wouldn’t catch me sipping on it either.I started taking this for various reasons - boosting appetite, improving my postpartum health (thyroid, adrenals, etc.), soothe anxiety and insomnia, and to treat my irregular heartbeat and occasional palpitations (that I think are anxiety related). It does all of that without question!!! Now it’s not a magic potion cure all but I am absolutely feeling better in all of the above areas and I imagine that after using this long term, I’ll feel EVEN better. I noticed changes within 2 days of taking this 3x a day. Now that I’ve been taking it for a week I’ve dropped down to 2x a day and that seems to work fine.I’ve been taking this along with the Herb Pharm Stress Management tincture and am amazed at how my anxiety and panicked feelings have diminished. I almost feel normal again, which is such a relief to say! Hoping that they’ll keep providing me with this relief. Give it a try, won’t hurt (unlike prescriptions)!

I use this for my Graves disease / Hyperthyroid. My nutrition store was out of Thyroid Calming tincture, so I made my own with this Motherwort, added Lemon balm and also Bugleweed tinctures by this brand. I take it before I go to bed and it really helps. Disclaimer: I am not a doctor and you should check with your doctor or functional medicine practitioner before trying this.

Obviously this is a health product meant for regular use, BUT, I was looking for a mild relaxer that could be added to a virgin drink for social drinking alternative. After researching, Motherwort seemed like a good choice. I add it to kombucha to make a fizzy mocktail. It does add an “earthy” tone to the flavor but I’m not opposed. The combination of the Motherwort and kombucha make it a sippable drink and perfect for why I got it. I use a “double dose” and do believe it has a fast mildly mellowing effect. Next up, I’ll being adding Lavendar tincture to the recipe.
