These strips are delish! Good to put in your salads and soups!

I have no idea if these taste like bacon or not but they sure have a nice flavor and add a delightful crunch to salads!

Update: I had a new idea! I made BLT sandwiches with these and a little Vegenaise! So good! My family loves these! We love that they are Vegan / Plant Based and healthy. Love that they are made from Pinto Beans and a few short list of ingredients. The size of the bits is small and reasonable. They have just enough crunch, but not too hard though. They have good flavor. The flavor of the pintos is underlying, but the bacon flavor is more prominent. We plan to add them as a garnish topping the next time we make Pintos and Cornbread. We put them in salad and on baked potatoes, nachos and pizza. Sometimes we just snack on them. However, don’t eat them like chips, as they are dehydrated beans and too much can cause gas. So as long as you eat the serving size there is no issue for that. I feel like you get a good amount in the size of this bag for the price as well. There are a number of other vegan bacon bit products on the market, but we really love this one for its natural short list of ingredients. The only improvement to suggest is making them Organic. :)

crunchy and has good flavor! if you're familiar with liquid smoke, this is what's in this. not perfect but good enough.

These bacon-less bits unfortunately do not taste like bacon at all. They taste like what they are - pinto beans. Dehydrated pinto beans with some seasoning. They taste okay for what they are, just don’t expect them to be a good substitute for bacon. I was pretty bummed that they weren’t what they claim to be since other imitation bacon bits just taste like pure liquid smoke. I was hoping to find a better fake bacon. My plan was to use these on pizza but I really don’t want it to just taste like beans.

Amazon shows I’ve purchased this 12 times. That was fast! These are delicious and I think they’re better than real bacon bits. I’ve always thought real bacon bits had an odd chemical taste. These don’t! They taste like bacon, with no weird aftertaste. My wife likes to add these to salads. I use these for my bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches. I just spread a pile on the muffin and it gives me the bacon taste I’m looking for. It’s amazing that these are so good AND affordable.

It has been hard to find the plain strips here in stores and our family dislikes garlic, etc. we use them as toppers, of course, but I also keep a jar of them in pantry for my nephew (10 year old) who LOVES snacking on them!!
