I can’t connect to wifi then when I do it says there is a constant issues with SD card which there isn’t even one for it!! Was very excited and am extremely disappointed.

I ordered this for my 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (JL) as I take routine road trips and have witnessed too many close calls or idiotic behavior from drivers out there.First, the look and feel of this product is top notch. We had one for my step-daughter (my wife installed that one) but it looked more like a box rather than the sleek form of this one. Note that this product comes with a separate rear camera that you can install or not. So there are technically three cameras on this system: forward, cockpit and rear. For my purposes, I installed everything.Note that the instructions aren't always clear. The included clear sheets are so you aren't installing the heavy-duty adhesive to your window. So clean the window, determine where you want the camera, install the clear plastic (remove the film on one side indicated by the tab), and then install the camera with adhesive onto the clear plastic. Do this for the front and the rear (if you are installing the rear camera).For my Jeep, I like that there are two disconnect spots on the cable. One is at the front where it connects to the main camera. One is also about a foot and a half off the rear camera. So you can mount this to your hard top and, using some logic in wire placement, allow yourself the option to unplug the rear camera if you take off the top. I then traced that wire back to the front along the driver's side under plastic trim. Plenty of wire for this.After everything is installed, you'll install the app, turn the car on, and follow the in-app directions on connecting to the camera. Note that my camera automatically connected to my home wi-fi. Not sure why it's doing that but seemed a bit odd.My only complaint so far (aside from instructions that aren't always the best), is that I can't customize the camera view in the app to just show the front and the back cameras. It is either everything (which includes the cockpit) or just one. A custom setting would be nice. Otherwise, I suppose I'll have to wait for the proper time to "lock recording" or wind up in an accident. Hopefully not but feel I'm much better prepared.

Yes, you read that correctly. I did a lot of research when my last dashcam broke. I chose this one because of its features, ability to verbally communicate, ease of operation and cost. My 75yo father installed it for me, no problems whatsoever. Together we tested it out, played online with it, and it was everything it promised to be. So much so, that we bought 3 more for our other vehicles to each have one.
