This works really well. Doesn’t smell all that great but the smell doesn’t seem to linger either. I have a severe low back injury and I have used lidocaine and many other products to ease the tension along with my meds and tens unit. I was looking for a capsaicin product from the 80’s but I couldn’t find it and this has most of the same ingredients so I thought I would try it out. It has helped relax the tension I experience through out my day. It’s not long term that I’ve noticed but it’s only been about a week of using it now and then. I will update as I get through more of the tube. But it does seem to work. And not much else does so I will take it. 👍👍👍

it works but be careful. if it is on your hands, don't touch any sensitive parts of the body.It will burn !Use gloves

This stuff is great!I have carpal tunnel and arthritis in both thumbs. This has a strong smell but it works very well. Dime size amount goes a long way. I put it on at night and put cotton gloves on before bed. Remember to wash your hands very well because your eyes will sting if you accidentally rub your eyes with residue from the product.

Yes, it works. Used it on my mom's neck one evening, not knowing it would become an eternal part of me. Not kidding, this stuff is like the clingy girlfriend nobody wanted!! Washed my hands. Washed dishes. While eating dinner I touched my cheek... Cheek begins to tingle... Wash hands again with different soap. The next morning the whole side of my face is burning (not painful, but not something you can ignore), apparently I slept with my head on my hands. Wash hands again, then take shower. The hot water re-activates the burning sensation on my hands, so I am very cautious about where my hands touch while showering!!! 18 hours after initial use, my hands finally stop burning and tingling. Hoping it is safe to assume that means I can't transfer it to other parts of my body anymore!

I have a form of autoimmune arthritis, and I am 61. I've never had much success with topical ointments for pain and soreness relief, including ordinary capsaicin cream. This NOW cream is different. I don't know whether it's the lower level of capsaicin ("right-sized" for me?) or the glucosamine or the boswellia, or something else. All I know is that I rub it into where it's sore, stiff, and achy, and the pain goes away -- I mean, really goes away. And I feel some systemic relief, too, from the mild malaise that often accompanies my soreness. This has never happened with any other topical pain relief product.It's not comfortable to put it all over large areas, like your entire back, and then stand out in the sun or work around a fireplace. That will make you too hot. For me, though, it's usually spot-treating my lower back and one knee, not smearing it over my whole body.I hope NOW keeps producing this and doesn't change a thing about it.

The doctor's office recommended Capsaicin for chronic neuropathy and it worked just great! My MIL has been suffering with 'itchy back' in medical terms: "Notalgia Paraesthetica". She opted to try this NOW Brand product. We applied it with a long-handle sponge applicator and once it heated up for a few minutes the chronic itching abated, much to her relief- and astonishment. Bear in mind, this product has some heat, but it does cool down, so it's recommended to wear gloves or use an applicator.

It may help with the pain but it burns. Terrified of accidentally rubbing my eyes. A big no!
