Women's Plus Size Beach Lounge Kaftan Maxi Dress Swimsuit Coverup for Women

I purchased this caftan / cover up for a "moo moos and margaritas" party, and I was looking for something that reminded me of Mrs. Roper. If you're an older individual, you will know who that is. This caftan was perfect for that. The colors and pattern are very pretty and its super flowy. So much fun. The fabric is light weight and could be used for a pool or beach cover-up as well. The size was just right, although us shorter ladies may need to pick up the caftan as you go up any stairs as it is on the longer side. The price was great, and worth the money. It washed well holding its shape and the colors remained just as vibrant as when first purchased. Initially I only purchased this for the party, but its so pretty and comfortable that I will probably continue to wear this around the house.

I bought two of these caftans in different patterns to take to a desert resort with a spectacular outdoor pool. I was on the fence about ordering this bold print with its multiple colors, but the flowing pattern was so pretty I thought it was worth a try. When it arrived, I was only marginally impressed until I pulled it out of the package and put it on - - wow! Absolutely stunning! The garment is a simple rectangular shape that’s seamed down the middle of each side. But the impact of the draping is marvelous. It is not see-through but it’s weightless enough to just flow easy over all of your imperfections without making you look like you’re wearing a huge bag. It’s soft and comfy next to your skin, and well-constructed; the seams did not fray when I machine-washed it on the delicates cycle. I hung it on a hanger to dry, flattening out the corners of the hem and shoulders. and it surprisingly did not need ironing after it dried. I folded it in thirds, and then in half the other way, and packed it on top of everything else in my suitcase, and it didn’t wrinkle. I really felt like a movie star in this one, and I not only wore it multiple days over my swimsuit but also popped it on after my shower. Every day I had it on, I was stopped and complimented, several ladies asked me where I’d bought it. Some days I had a floppy hat & flip flops on, and other days I styled it with jeweled sandals and big hoop earrings. One side has a curved V neckline, and I wore that in both the front and the back to give it different looks. It was perfect to leave on in the evening sitting by the outdoor fireplace, as it dried quickly even over my damp swimsuit. I’d packed two pairs of shorts for this weeklong trip but I ended up wearing neither because I had two of these caftans for over my swimsuits. When I arrived home, I took it to the drugstore so I could pick out 3 new nail polish colors to go with for the summer. I am only 5’4” tall and this wasn’t so long that it interfered with walking, but it’s plenty long enough for bigger/taller ladies, too. What a find! I never expected to be so happy with this well-priced simple garment. The only improvement to be made would be to add pockets on the side seams. Which would be simple to do if you sew. But I’m afraid if it had them, I might never take it off.

This is so comfortable and I love the fabric. Only problem with it is that I wish I could find it in more patterns. It was perfect for the beach and offered just the coverage that I needed. When washing, wash ALONE because it does bleed and you won’t want to damage any other clothing. No shrinkage. I love how light and airy it is and I wear it around the house too.

Beautiful color, quality, and a silky smooth texture. Very lightweight and beautiful. However it did rip right down both sides when my wife accidentally sat the wrong way in it. That resulted in my 4 star review.

purchased several of these caftans. The colors are vibrant and they are so comfortable. I wear them all the time around the house, when I’m running errands, and even out to lunch and dinner dates with my friends. People frequently stop and ask me where I got them. they can be elegant, if dressed up with a cute sandal and coordinating jewelry. They have become one of my staples in my retirement.

Fun caftan but it came with the side seem ripped and 2 holes in the front of the caftan. The side seem was easily mended but the holes are not. It was comfortable and fit large as expected.

Really pretty design but I swam in it, it was really big. I ended up sending it back for a different one that was smaller.
