The magnets work properly, and the size is correct. However, my pen doesn’t work at all when writing with the MagGlass cover on.

No way I'm going back to using film/squeegee screen protector applications after using the MagFlex product. Way easier to install, no bubbles to mess with and the "paperlike" when screen writing is quite satisfactory.

Okay, let me tell you - it's your choice whether you choose the texture or clarity. M4 comes with super high resolution OLED. If you use this screen protector, and yes, you can feel paper like texture and it's very comforting when you write something on the screen with your Apple Pencil and it's important for many. But due to the friction texture, you will see the screen looks like LCD in iPad 2nd generation. I am not sure that is what you want. Regardless of the screen clarity, it has great build quality and very easy to attach it. Despite of the significant flaw (but I guess it's a common flaw for all paper textured screen protector), I gave 4 stars. Recommended only for those who write or draw a lot with Apple Pencil and clarity and resolution is not so important.

I love the feel of this screen protector. It feels just like smooth tracing paper and it’s very satisfying to draw on. It’s nice and quiet too. Previous “paper-like” protectors I have owned were very gritty and rough and tore apart my pencil nibs easily. I’ve been using this for a few days and I can feel my pencil nib getting a little bit rough, but I do not see any “scratches” on the screen protector yet or any physical damage to my pencil.I was surprised that the magnet strips have what feels like a thin layer of adhesive on them. I thought the whole point was so that the magnets would stick without needing adhesive.At first I had this just on my bare ipad screen but this isn’t necessarily a screen protector, it’s just a removable piece of paper that I feared will end up scratching my screen. I applied a tempered glass screen protector first and then applied this one on top. The magnets don’t stick as well, but they do stick. It’s still just as touch sensitive with two layers on top of your screen. However, if you are using this for drawing, it does make your lines a little bit wobbly.There is a plastic envelope to keep the screen protector in when not in use which is handy if you are going to be taking this on and off while using your ipad for other purposes. The cutouts are exact and this does fit while inside a case which I am happy about.

I had actually given my Apple Pencil to one of my sons because I really didn't like writing on the glass with it. So when I got ready to order my iPad I was going to pass on the pencil when a friend suggested getting one of the magnet surfaces for the new one so I got the pencil and waited to find one of these once it came in.Upon getting the chance to review I thought it would be worth a shot but the product turned out to be much more than expect. Not only does it fit perfectly and stays on well but it has transformed my use of the pencil on the iPad, definitely making it worth having one.If you are like me and don't want something on there all the time but like to draw from time to time this is truly perfect. Thank you MagFlex for making my expensive Apple Pencil truly useful for me!
