Would this xart ve capable of carrying soil repeatedly diwn steos

As this has a back roller rather than a proper wheel I would be nervous for using it for soil (which is heavy) especially up/down steps. I use it for transporting tools & weeds (up & down steps & on the flat). Sorry can't be of more help.

Would this be any good for moving gravel

The roller is centred with over hanging skip hence would be Top Heavy and takes strength to keep it upright over uneven ground , i use it for bringing logs from Garage to fire side, its not really suitable for heavy stuff like Gravel unless you only 1/3rd fill it. Its Great for moving light duty bulky stuff - garden weeds/grass clippings etc Hope that helps

I use mine for compost and weeds, not for anything really heavy - it's useful but not hugely robust. I'd guess a weight capacity of around 20kg.

Does it hold water - without another bucket inside it?

Never tried it for transporting water, and not sure it's sturdy enough to carry more than a gallon or so. It certainly collects rainwater, so must have some potential.
