Great alternative. Video is behind the tempered glass.
First off, it actually is a touchscreen just as it advertises. You have to have the HDMI cable and the USBC plugged into the computer, not HDMI and the power port usbc. They give recommendations on software to download so that takes care of that part. People saying it doesn’t fit, or doesn’t work didn’t take the time to figure it out or just look at the photos on this listing. I will agree that it would be great if it went edge to edge for a better fit and finished look. Also, the touch screen works just fine behind the tempered glass as you can see in this video. I too was thinking I was bamboozled for a second and it was just a regular screen but it is not. It is exactly ans andvertised. Also, I found if you plug in the HDMI second, it recognizes and works better when testing.

Hyte Y70
Looks fire but I wish they can at list sell a 3D printed piece so I can use it without Y70 glass, so I can use the touchscreen.

Worked for less than a month
So it worked at the beggining, on and off.. then it completely shut off, tried to switch hdmi cables and everything.. no luck. Also its pointless thats “white” there’s no difference but the back metal part which is hidden and useless, it actually seems it has gaps around it because of that. 3, hows it touch? U can unless u remove the glass panel and this will keep ur pc open to dust..smh. Not a good product, specially for the price tag it’s very cheap chinese quality to be put on high end PC builds.. bummer.

Good for Hyte Y70 alternate to their stock display
Works great, plug and play. It instantly becomes my 3rd PC display. Learning AM64 to have custom graphics on it is another story by it does work as intended in my Hyte Y70 case.

Good screen, touch works great and response time is pretty good too
This stretched bar monitor is great, touch screen works from behind the tempered glass and the image is crispy and colors look good if the screen is viewed straight, but unfortunately it looks a bit darker and colors are not so great if viewed from an angle, otherwise it would be a five star. I have it installed inside the Lian Li Dynamic XL ROG, it doesn't fit the case perfectly but still looks nice in my opinion. Update: now 2 stars from 4 stars due to how this monitor handles brightness; it won't remember the brightness settings and always wake up from standby with brightness level of 30, requiring a manual brightness adjustment every time.

Perfect for Y70
Touch screen isn’t the best, but other than that it’s perfect, also has an HDR setting in the menu. Overall recommend if you’re looking for that extra flair for your build. Read the instructions!

Good substitute for the Y70 touch screen
No issues installing in my Y70. Screen is not "edge to edge" with the glass. Might not be esthetically pleasing for some but it fits. Touch screen works but no software provided to work with it, but you DONT need software. It's detected as a second monitor. This is a good substitute for the Y70 touch screen as that's in a endless backorder.

Cool display
All the settings can be controlled in windows. But I made my own gui interface for it.
