I would say that these are a 8, although my toe is at the end. Pretty sure they wouldn't fit a size 9. I also ordered a size 8 and these were a 41-42 and they were too small. These shoes are quite wide and they stay on your feet as they hug the ankle. Pretty comfy- not as comfy as my croc flip flops. Possibly the grippyyness at the heel will rub. I lost the first pair in a river. The second pair shrank in the sun. This is my third pair. Comfortable and almost smart they're great for pootling around the garden or heading to the beach. But do be aware, if you leave them out in the sun, they will shrink and become unwearable. With regards to sizing I am a UK size 6 (39) and pretty dead on for all shoes. I need the UK 7 in these (which is the US 9) and they fit fine. If in doubt go up a size. I randomly asked how her they were and she couldn't recommend them enough so I ordered the same night.They arrived fast and fit true to size, don't size up or down. If you have wide feet these probably aren't for you just to warn you.They look smart and teamed with black tights and a cute dress I strutted around the office in these comfortably all shift. Easy to wipe clean if you get them dirty and don't look like plastic shoes which was my biggest concern.
