It is easily adjustable for large and small hands and has quite a lot of memory features for yourself and other users. So much so you will need to spend time reading the instructions. I haven't bothered. I just press the ON button and then the START button. I was expectiong the handle to move but there is no reason why it should. I bought it having seen the late Dr Michael Moseley suggesting grip strenth is an indicator of health. The device comes with a table of expected results for men and women of various ages to compare yourself against.

I bought it because it appeared to do everything I wanted and was cheap but have found it to be extremely inaccurate. A 36kg (80lb) grip registers as 30kgs. ie 6kg too low. I guess that sometimes you get what you pay for!
