The real problem is not so much the costs but the mindboggling amount of plastic waste that results from buying into this Venta system. Typically three of these disks will last a year and weigh approximately 2kg. Outside of Germany, Venta does not offer a recycling program so over a device lifespan of 10 years, you'll generate approximately 20kg of plastic waste. Now considering that there are 10,000s of these devices in operation, we are looking at roughly 1M kg or a 1000 tonnes of plastic weight resulting from this Venta design. Venta's designers and engineers will definitely find themselves on the wrong side of history, as will their lazy recycling people. And myself? I also find myself on the wrong side of history because I was so stupid to buy into this system.

Hygiene Disc wie immer gut. Aber ich habe im Oktober 2018 einen Venta LW 62 WIFI für € 2.599,00 gekauft. Nun musste ich feststellen das Venta den Preis für dieses Gerät auf € 1.769,00 gesenkt hat. Ich fühle mich da als Kunde einfach stark benachteiligt. Einfach nur schlecht gemacht.

Wir nutzen die Venta Hygienedisk für unseren Venta Luftreiniger LPH60 WiFi und tauschen diesen normalerweise einmal pro Saison aus. Der Hersteller rät zwar alle 12 Wochen, allerdings wird bei uns der Luftreiniger nur während der Heizperiode verwendet (Nov - Feb) und das passt dann ganz gut. Die Hygienedisk ist nicht wirklich günstig, wer sich allerdings anschaut was es bei anderen Herstellern für Schrott gibt, welcher dann auch mit knapp 10EUR/Monat zuschlägt, dann gebe ich dieses Geld gerne aus für einen sonst absolut wartungsfreien Betrieb. Der Austausch der Hygienedisk ist wirklich absolut simpel und in kürzester Zeit erledigt. Somit für das Gerät und die Einfachheit in der Verwendung ein absolutes Top-Produkt.
