Well built and easy to operate. Spreads light very evenly even when used with a speed light with a fresnel head. I was doubtful of the small size but it helps create beautiful soft shadows even on wide shots (full body portraits) from a distance of 12 feet.

Great modifier, versatile, perfect size for daily use and I love the portability. Be aware that if DOES NOT include the grid or the reflector plate, even though shown in the pics, the tiny print says (not included). Also, the reflector plate isn't available from Amazon, I had to order from adorama. Still, great product, nicely made and worth every penny.

While I'm new to the world of lighting as a pro musician for over 20 years, this has been my favorite 48" softbox by far to date!!! It's super easy to open and close, has a really convenient zipper on the side for easy access to the open close/release once you have your diffusers installed, has a huge even light spread, and is super lightweight to boot! The shallow depth also really helps to make it feel like a smaller softbox (especially during storage) while still actually giving IHMO a very similar output to other (seemingly) much larger 48" softboxes. The inner diffuser has a double layer in the center which pretty much gets rid of any hot spots, in fact, I ended up getting the best results using only the inner diffuser rather than the outer. I also picked up the beauty dish plate attachment which makes it possible to run it with NO diffuser resulting in the most dramatic (brightest) lighting of all! Highly recommended. I’ve been using the Godox S85T 85cm quick release umbrella softbox in a small studio setup, and the quick-release mechanism is a big advantage. Quick release system works as advertised - setup is under a minute. The 85cm size gives nice, even light for portraits without being too unwieldy in tight spaces. Bowens mount fits my strobes perfectly. Diffusion is solid, softens hard light well. It's not the most premium build, but for the price it does exactly what I need. If you're doing portraits or product work and want something fast to deploy, this gets the job done.

This is without doubt my favourite softbox. Great size, super lightweight, really soft light and you can put it up and take it down in a matter of seconds. I don’t even need to remove either diffusion sheet. One of the buys of the year for me.

Acheté il y a 6 mois, cette boite à lumière de campagne me donne toutes satisfactions. Rapide à monter, elle n'est pas pingre en diversité de lumières. Sans rien devant, avec le réflecteur argenté, la puissance est là. Ensuite, on peut mettre un diffuseur, puis un autre (livrés les 2 avec) si la lumière n'est pas assez douce. On peu rajouter une grille nid d'abeille (option payante) et aussi un disque réflecteur (option payante également) pour la transformer en disque beauté. En déplacement on un ensemble de possibilités avec un seul système, ce qui permet de ne pas se surcharger, d'autant que le 65 cm est compacte une fois replié.

This product is light and easy to carry around. Very easy to assemble with its umbrella style function. The build quality is good I have tested this on an outdoor shoot . Easy to fit in its holder which is provided. Value for money ? Keep your eyes open as it tends to fluctuate however it’s still a great deal. This produces good light and its functionality is as it says on the box .I would recommend this product

Sehr gute Softbox mit 85 cm, leicht in der Handhabung besonderst wenn die Softbox im Freien genutzt wird. Wenn man den Schirm zuhause vorbereitet, also alles einbaut was man und wie man es benötigt, und dann den Schirm zusammenfaltet, in die Transporttasche steckt und am gewünschten Ort benötigt einfach aufspannen und loslegen. Spart echt Zeit und Mühe. Meine ersten Porträtaufnahmen mit einem Pärchen an einem sonnigen Tag, zeigte mir, dass ich den richtigen Kauf gemacht habe. Mit einem Aufsteckblitz (GODOX TT585 II C) und der entsprechenden Halterung für den Blitz (Bowens Godox S-Type) , kein Problem alles tip top. Leider muss man das Softboxgitter extra erwerben, aber auch das ist es wert. Ich persönlich kann diesen Artikel, nur weiterempfehlen. P.S. Dies ist meine persönliche Meinung.

Great softbox and easy to use. The size and design is very practicable. What is not so good is the weight taking in consideration if you'll use a bracket... the weight could help with the wind too...
