I love this chair, because it's the right high, Strong and comfortable. My mom loves it.

These are nice enough. My only complaint is that the screws come loose way too easily. We have many of these chairs and for a while had to tighten them up every week. We started putting "lock tight" on the screws each time we find a loose one and the problem is almost gone now. Once we get all the screws treated the problem will be totally gone. So if you buy these, get some "lock tight" and apply it to the screws as you go and save yourself the trouble. The loose screws is the only complaint. One comment, we ordered several and they came in two different designs. They look almost accidental but the assembly is a little different between them. One was very easy to tell which upright bar went in each location. The other was not so easy to tell and we got it wrong a couple times. So be careful when assembling to get them right BEFORE YOU LOCK TIGHT!!!!

As bar stools in general go, this is not a 5-star item. But for a bar stool of this height at this price (I paid just over $22), it is much better than I expected. Good value (and that's what I've rated).Assembly was relatively easy (all the parts were there and fit as indicated), and it serves the purpose for which I bought it (to use at a workbench in the garage). It's sturdy, it swivels, and it's easy to clean. I wouldn't want to sit on it for hours and hours, but it's comfortable enough for the limited amounts of time I need it.

I bought two of these stools thinking that some of the reviews were exaggerating about the challenge of putting them together...nope. Impossible to put together alone and impossible to put together without significant strength.All of the pieces necessary were there and the instructions were clear. Putting the legs together was a fairly easy task (comparatively), but I still had to try 3-5 different ways of maneuvering to get them on correctly.After this, it was a nightmare. The back pieces simply did not fit correctly. It was impossible to place them in the holes designated and then connect them to the next set of holes the had to go into. I worked on this for about an hour before I got my fiancé involved. He was sure he would be able to do it. Yeah, no.It took both of us bending and pulling pices into place to get the pieces into the holes. We were not able to fit screws into each designated space because the bars so clearly were not in properly. We took it apart and put it together in so many different configurations, but nothing worked easily. I think the two that I ordered were either not made correctly or (and this seems more likely based on other reviews) part of a larger design flaw.I don't think the bars will come out without screws, but I also don't feel perfectly safe. The only reason we aren't retiring them is because we literally can't take some of the bars out now and the idea of putting more effort into these damn things is horrifying to me. Plus, we scratched parts of both stools trying to get it together. Fail.

I bought this because I needed two barstools fast and cheap. They are cheap looking, although if you are going for an industrial look they might be cheap in a good way. If you are trying to deepen your buddhist practice these chairs are incredibly beneficial. You will learn patience, skill, and compassion in a 1 to 2 hour sitting. Hopefully you have saved your little wrenches from other projects as these aluminum ones strip easily. You do not need two people unless you are trying to save your relationship through the shared hardship method. I only have two left over screws but I deemed them to be unnecessary for structural integrity. If you buy this stool see if you can determine which screw on each chair I chose to give up on. Hopefully you bought 2 so you will not be annoyed by the poor forethought of design when you practice putting the second one together. Overall the experience was a great opportunity to practice buddahdharma, if you were Christian you could turn the other cheek or realize martyrdom if you put them together for a friend. If you are atheist perhaps they will confirm that god does not exist. If you bought this and it was easy to put together, please try not to be smug; perhaps the guy in the factory was practicing compassion on the day your E holes were drilled. I recommend doing steps 3 and 4 first because...."If it's your job to eat a frog, it's best to do it first thing in the morning. Easy to build & sturdy & tall, However the back bar is a bit uncomfortable, I Installed a Pool noodle for extra comfort, this was just for my workshop

I bought two Of these stools and it wasn’t hard to assemble but once assembled both stools were not Balanced and some legs were longer than others

I use this daily. Works okay. Swivels which is nice. Not the best materials but sufficient. Not the thickest cushion but sufficient. I don’t beat it around and I weigh under 200#. So I cannot speak to how it will hold up with a 250# person on it.For me it works as I need it to so it’s sufficient!
