AltraWomen's Paradigm 2 Running Shoe

These shoes are brilliant. Before I found these I had always had sore knees after running on the road and was confined to treadmill running. I had had shoe fitting after gait analysis - but same problem. Then I did some research of my own on the internet and came up with these. I haven't had any soreness anywhere since running in the Paradigm 2.0. As a result I did the C25K program a year ago and now run regularly x3-4 week between 5-10 K a time and am really enjoying it. NB - sizing runs small. I wear a 5 1/2 normally in day shoes, and take a 7 in these.

Frustrated by this purchase. Shoe fits longer than earlier model. Something about the new "rail" irritates my foot.

I have loved the Altra shoes for a long time. I'm a nurse and I'm on my feet all day, they're comfortable and give me just enough support. Unfortunately the last two pairs I purchased wore out really quickly and I'm in the search for another great walking shoe.

It wasn't long before they got holes in them.

I like the shape. They look good, but they fit small. Maybe a half size too small. I am an 11 and never has that been too small. What’s a girl with big feet to do? :)
