Outstanding features. The cold setting gets cold, and the warm setting gets warm. Keep in mind that this is a portable unit but delivers high quality. The storage case is sleek and durable. The fan provides powerful air flow. The design of the unit is comfortable, but it is a little on the heavy side for longer wear times. Not too much of a compromise. Overall, it's a good value if you have a sensitivity to the heat. I would purchase again.

I tried the deluxe limited edition stainless steel "thermochromic" model. It's sturdy and well made, and the design looks great. However, it's not without its share of pros and cons. PROS It gets very cold/heats up fast and the customizable airflow when set to max is quite strong (but see cons, below, because the range at which it is effective at cooling is rather narrow). The free app is fast and easy, with a super clean, attractive, and idiot-proof animated interface. It allows you to turn the device on/off and customize the air flow strength as well as which vent configuration you want to use (all, neck, left, or right, in whatever combination desired). You can switch between cold, hot, or only air. It tracks your battery life down to the last percentage point, as well as with a wheel symbol. In short, you need this app! It's a joy to use. You can use the Coolify Cyber while it is charging, which is great! Unfortunately, due to the underside placement of the charging port, the cable's connector uncomfortably rubs against your collar bone. Somebody should have thought this placement through a little better. CONS The cold pack part (in the back of the neck) is only effective up to maybe 85-90 degrees and works much better indoors than outdoors. Once the temperature starts to get higher, all you're going to feel is hot air from the vents. I was able to test my unit outdoors and indoors during 75-98 degree summer weather, but no comparable test for how the heat function does in winter. I did briefly test the heat function on a cooler summer day, and it seems fine, but I can't guarantee how well it would perform in winter. This is not a replacement for an indoor AC, but it does allow you to be mobile, which is nice. The recessed controls are impossible to find/work while it's being worn. This is an inconvenience more than a problem as long as you have the Coolify app installed and your phone handy. The built in fan controls are a bit counterintuitive, but you can use the app to avoid them. The Cyber is a little bit heavier and tighter than cheaper plastic neck fans, but not uncomfortably so. However, if you have an especially thick or wide neck, it might hug you too tightly. It has a limited hinged design to accommodate different neck sizes, but it's much less forgiving than cheaper bendable neck fans. I hear the cheaper Coolify models don't have the same problem. The battery life on max air with the cold function burns up about +/-1% a minute. I did not let it drain to zero to see exactly how minutes it gives on max or any other setting. I also did not do any battery life tests with the heat function. The loudness factor is also a bit much when it is on full blast. The noise when setting it on low is fine and not too bad on medium. The thermochromic bonus feature (available in the deluxe stainless steel limited edition only) adds zero value as it changes color rarely and only on the inside of the band where no one will see it. OVERALL The Coolify Cyber is a cool idea (pardon the pun) but overpriced for what it does. I say this primarily because of its limited effectiveness in higher temperatures, and that it's better for indoor home or office use than going outside. If you're only dealing with temperatures in the mid-70s to mid-80s and intend to use the device mostly indoors without AC, you might love it. While I chose to return my Cyber, I do like the direction where Torras is taking their Coolify line. I'm sure they'll continue to keep iterating newer, better, and more powerful versions. Hopefully, someday the features match the price. UPDATE (August 12, 2024): Torras provided excellent after-sales service. They contacted me and made sure my refund was processed quickly and smoothly. They also told me their after-sales service doesn't just apply to refunds, but for any help customers might need. So don't be afraid to contact them, and don't be afraid to take a chance on trying their products. I'm glad I did, and would definitely buy from them again.

Purchased 3 different cooling fans to compare. All of them high end. I must say, I did not compare any low end models. This was absolutely the best of the three. Most comfortable, blower positions and options are perfect, I do not even need to run it on high, that's how impressed I am with the product and how well it cools. You can also run it off a battery pack in your pocket if needed for more than 3 hours. Have been using for a month now and very happy with this purchase.

I have Coolify 2. Still running great after 2 years. Coolify Cyber is offering many step-up features from Coolify 2. Great to see these new features: With 3 large cold plates, the unit covered more area. Provide faster and constant cooling effect. Added additional wind tunnels for improved heat dissipation in different areas. Larger battery capacity, faster charging speed, and charging with unit running are great for longer usage time. The product has a good weight. Solid build. Easy to use. Linked up to Bluetooth quickly and easily. The app is easy to use. Provided different options for customizing to fit my need. Auto mode is great. Set it and forget it.

I purchased this since my wife and I travel to Japan often. During the summer, the heat and especially humidity is ridiculous out there!! I know there’s no perfect product to keep cool under those conditions, but it honestly helped me out so much!! The cool feature is literally cool!! Lol… I also used the heat feature when I was up there for the winter. I was a bit on the fence prior to buying it, because of the price point, but it was totally worth it. You seriously can’t put a price on comfort. Highly recommend this product!!

It’s tight on my neck and then it leaves my neck sweat. It definitely blows cool air but I don’t the fan on my neck tight making me sweaty

It cools you instantly, lowers your body temperature! And also heats up to close to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The fan mode circulates regular ambient air, but it is also very efficient. Pricey, but very happy with the purchase as I live in the Tropics, with unbearable hot days. Highly recommend.

Disappointed that it didn’t work for me so I returned it

I got this device for an upcoming trip to Thailand to help me not sweat as much in the brutal heat & humidity. Excellent quality device but unfortunately it is way too tight on my neck and very uncomfortable to wear. It felt like my arteries were literally being cut off by the tightness, which worried me of course and is probably not healthy. I tried it for a few days and never got accustomed to the tightness of the unit on my neck. I am not super overweight, but slightly at 6 feet and 250 pounds and my neck is slightly large but far from the size of much larger men. This device is clearly made only for smaller people with thin necks because I can't see how anyone larger than me would ever be able to wear this. Torras is missing out on a huge market of people by not offering a larger size, or better adjustment settings on this model. They should definitely add adjustable width with the ability to lock it in place when it's comfortable in future iterations. I ended up returning it and getting the Ranvoo Aice Lite Plus instead, which works better for me as it's not nearly as tight on my neck, and the cooling plates seem a bit colder, plus the fans are quite a bit stronger which I like much better. Plus I got it on sale for $274 CAD so it's literally $200 less than the Torras Cyber Alpha ($475 CAD), so a no-brainer for me.
