These work just fine.

They work very well I especially like the LED light to confirm connectivity. If it’s not on all you have to do is flip the connector. It is a USB-C issue not the device.

UPDATE: It works! I was just using it incorrectly. In the instructions they say that the units work in only one direction. So, it the LED does not light up, you just invert the connection, and it will start working. I learned it from the video that accompanied the product. So I now have to cancel the return and start using it. I upgraded the stars from 1 to 5. However, pl. note that I have not checked the data speed, only power delivery. When I do check the data speed, I will report back here. I ordered this product. It is nicely made and looks sturdy. Each unit has a white LED that shows the unit is working. However, after a few hours of usage, each of these failed. The light does not come up. Interestingly, they did not fail during usage. The failed when they were not being use -- it seems to me. I need to research more and look for a longer-lasting connector. Or if I am not using it right. If so, how else can a connector be used properly?

This connector does the job. I've only used it for charging, and it doesn't change the charging time, so it's not losing any voltage. Unlike other products I've looked at, it doesn't matter which way you plug in the USB C cables on either end, it works great. There's also a led on both sides of the metal case so you know you have power. I'd buy this again.

They do what they claim to do. Sometimes, when using them with a USB A to C cable, you need to rotate the cable in the coupler to get them to work but I don't think that's the fault of the coupler, just something to keep in mind.

I purchased these USB C couplers to include in my cable lit when I travel. Quite often I find I need a really long USB C cable if I want to keep my phone on the nightstand in my hotel room. I had carried some long USB C cables for this purpose, but would rather pack two shorter cables rather than one long one as I sometimes need to power an additional device such as a battery charger. These USB C couplers are just the answer to my need. I'm now able to pack shorter cables, so I can power more things if necessary and can still accommodate poorly placed outlets in my hotel room by having a longer cable. I did not check the power drop across these but I was not able to detect any noticeable heat coming from them when I used them. It is possible that I was not pulling enough current to notice. Power losses from additional connections is always something to consider. With that said, it is possible that there will be some additional time required to charge a rapid charge item, but I did not notice any additional time difference when charging my phone and laptop.

Works perfectly. I have a couple of items that came with short cables that needed to be extended. I.E. a watch. Much cheaper than buying a usb-c extension cable.

What I didn't know is these are directional. Originally it would not charge until I read a review and said turn the coupler around. Then it worked.

Used these to extend power cables for LED under cabinet lighting, so we could hide the cables. No issues at all. Good solid connection.

Good units tight fitting and could energy and data transfer. Bit pricey but that maybe what it costs to make them so fair enough.

The LED only lights up when the entire connection itself is already working (with a load of power/data transfer), therefore making it useless as you would know if data/power was being transfered. The LED on the connector is supposed to light up when placed in the correct orientation to save some hassle, without a load on the connection, so that you can actually tell if it's oriented correctly, but it almost never does so. You still need to constantly rotate it around to try and gamble if it actually will work. However, the speed and wattage are correct, and it is useful when you do get it to work. It just comes with many unfortunate downsides. This means that I still constantly have to rotate it around, trying to see if it works. It somehow doesn't even consistently or reliably work in one orientation, meaning that if I disconnect my device, and later on go and try to connect it (without reorientating/modifying the connection in any way), there a very great chance it won't work anymore.
