Pennington Contractors Grass Seed Mix Central 7 lb

I took a chance on this grass to fill in some bare spots in my front yard, and I am so impressed!! Within three days, it has sprouted like nothing I've ever seen! But you should know, I didn't just sprinkle the seeds on the ground and walk away. I prepared the dirt first: dug it up, filtered out all the rocks, then planted the seeds about 3/4 inch deep and covered them with a good quality compost-infused soil then soaked it all down with water. So definitely a little sweat equity. But man, look at the results! I'l report back after a few months with new pics. Really impressed with this grass seed, and only $16 for a decent sized bag. For someone who doesn't have the time to sow grass seed in the defined proper manner this performs very well with my haphazard approach. I picked a predicted time of showers anticipated and it sprouted without further attention after spreading it where I wanted it to grow. Would recommend this seed for all those who don't have A lot of time. Though I'm sure folks will scoff at my improper sowing methods.

Looks like a good blend for my yard but time will tell. My opinion it needs to be added to creeping red and/or a rye grass for a faster growth of grass takes a while to germinate.

This grass seed is amazing I definitely recommend it, I've used a lot of grass seed and this has performed the best. Growth is fast and beautiful. I used a bucket of water and mixed it with toilet paper then hand spreed it.

The chemicals that are sprayed on the grass can be smelled where it’s planted. I would never get this product again. It’s nauseating and there are kids and animals that play in the yard. I will dig it out and plant real grass seed, this stuff is toxic AF.

Seed was growing in the bag most have gotten wet before delivery

Not the right product for patch reseeding existing lawns. I phoned their advice line and they informed me I bought the wrong product. Too late for refund because I've already dispensed it. Be careful what seed you buy
