It took me a few minutes to use this eyelash curler properly. At first, I thought the shape of my eyes didn't work with this curler. It felt like I was about to grab skin, but not lashes. The problem was that I didn't have the curler close enough to the base of my eyelashes. Once I got the curler well-situated at the base of my eyelashes and not pinching anything, I held it in place for about 30 seconds. I have never had such curled lashes in my 66 years! I think the thickness of the little black pad is the secret. I'm glad they included a replacement black pad for the curler.

I have Asian super straight lashes. I heat up this curler with my hair dryer and then use the curler and it works quite well. I found if you set it with a curling mascara the curls lasts most of the day.

I am shocked at how well this lash curler curls lashes. I usually use a heated lash curler but was interested to try the more traditional style. I had no idea that these would work as well as they do. In only one press I got the best curl I have ever had on my lashes. These are excellent. Worth every penny. They don't pinch or hurt at all. They don't even feel like they are pulling. They're super gentle on my lashes and comfortable to use.

This is the same old eye lash curler, nothing special and not worth the extra money!

I have 2 daughters and they have stolen my lash crimpers. I have gone without for awhile and thought that I would try again. I love this style of lash curler. It does not pinch, pull or hurt my lashes or eyes. The fit over my eyes is good and it works well to get a bend on the lashes to better define them for the day. An old style, old school design and works beautifully. A little pricey, but I am super happy with this curler. It comes with a replacement pad tucked into the bottom of the box.

I bought this to see if it was any better than my cheap Wet n Wild curler because I was influenced. Does it grab my lashes better? Yes. Is it more comfortable as I squeeze the curler? Yes. Does it provide long-lasting curl? No - the "heating up your curler" trick didn't make a difference either. So no, I don't think it's worth paying more than what I've already got for basically the same result.

This eyelash curler worked pretty well for me! It is basically your standard average eyelash curler, there really isn’t anything special to it that differentiates it from other curlers on the market. It does feel like it is really well made and it is good quality. It curled my lashes really nicely!

While HALEYS Re-Lift Instant Lash Curler is fairly comfortable to use, minimal pinching and pulling, I have a hard time curling some of the eyelashes in the outer corner...I think it's because my eyes are almond shaped. When I do manage to curl the corner eyelashes, the eyelashes in the middle sometimes would look a bit funny, probably due to how I have to adjust the curler to get ahold of the corner eyelashes. Perhaps I just need more practices... Btw my friend who curls her eyelashes all the time gave me a few tips: 1. Start with clean lashes to ensure there’s no residue that could prevent them from curling properly. 2. Position the curler close to the base of your lashes...a proper position would allow maximum curling, but not pinch your skin. 3. Apply gentle pressure. To achieve a good eyelashes curl, hold the eyelash curler clamped onto your lashes for at least 20 seconds. If your lashes are difficult to curl or particularly straight, you might want to hold it for up to 30 seconds or even 45 seconds. 4. Holding the clamp together for 30 seconds or more would also create a longer lasting lift. 5. Lastly and optionally, heat the eyelash curler with a hair dryer for a few seconds before using it. Since the skin around the eyes and eyelashes are both very delicate, always be patient and use extra caution to make sure the curler is not too hot to avoid burning your skin or lashes.
