Does what it says
Once I had purchased a three-way switch to suit, this was simple to install and works extremely well.The automatic setting just operates the pump as soon as the water level gets to the float mechanism and is cleared without fuss. So far, since first installation, I have not had to use the manual setting. Far superior to the pump fitted when I purchased the boat and a fraction of the cost.

Rubbish
I fitted this into my canal boat. It filled with water and automatically emptied as expected perfectly. However when empty it will not shut off. Had to purchase another pump elsewhere urgently.
