Cuberspeed Moyu Meilong 3x3x3 Reflective Metallic Mirror Shiny Stickerless Speed Cube 3x3 Metallic Magic Cube Puzzle Toys

I bought this for myself because I still vaguely remember how to solve a Rubik's Cube and I like the shiny metallic look. Although the gold and yellow-ish colors are very similar, they can be clearly identified in normal daylight. After a year of use there is no looseness to worry about - all cubes stick while the rows spin easily. There doesn't seem to be a problem with sturdiness. Overall, I am satisfied with the speed and value for what I paid. Best of all, it captures the kids' attention so I regularly have to go get it back from them - which makes yet another game!

I'm not GOATed when it comes to cubes, my best time is under a minute, but kids on the internet still blow me away. My daughter has been getting into cubes lately, and so MY CUBES have disappeared. This gives me an opportunity though to upgrade to cooler looking cubes to leave around the house - enter this shiny beast. I'll get the bad out the way first. Its smaller than you are used to (or at least feels that way, my cubes are MISSING so I can't do a side by side), and more importantly, the shiny colors are hard to see, especially "white" and "orange" and "orange" and "red" - they bleed together if you don't have great light. With that out the way, the two best features are - one - the obvious looks, it DOES look as good as you would hope - and two - its FAST. We all know the experience of using a cheap cube, where it doesn't turn all the way, or even middling cubes, that act like they are going to break on themselves if you go too fast. With this cube "I" was the limitation. Highly recommend for showing off. Edit - found one of my cubes, it is the same size.

Functional cube puzzle but with the cool looking shiny mirror surface, I like it on display. It turns fine with a little resistance but that means it's not going to get all loosened up over time, I would think. This is a well made cube puzzle, with quality material, and the metallic, shiny surface gives it a unique appeal, to where I personally, will get more joy from simply having it on display in my house, rather than "playing" it, and solving the puzzle. The fact that I'm pretty sure I'd give up on solving the puzzle, within 5 minutes of attempting to do so, further reinforces that my best option, is to just use it as an interesting display piece. Great product.

My understand of Moyu is that it is a reputable brand known for speed cubes. This is listed as a Moyu speed cube. I don't think it is a genuine moyu cube because it is very slow. I average around 20 seconds and there's no way i could get close to that on this cube. This is simply a novelty cube to add to a collection

This is no speed cube, but looks good for decor. I didn't enjoy solving this like I do with speed cubes.

Cuberspeed Moyu Meilong 3x3x3 Reflective Metallic Mirror Reflective Stickerless Speed Cube 3x3 Metallic Magic Cube Puzzle Toys i am not a speed cuber. a cuber or even novice. i am a child of the 70s. when i was a boy the 80s came and rubiks cube had found its stride. it was a cumbersome and complicated device. i gave it up. life happened. now i try to find things that are not a cellphone to entertain myself with while watching tv. i decided i would try to learn the rubiks cube. so over the last 40 or so years really smart folks have turned the mystery into a math problem and have learned that there isnt a mystery but algorithms. once you learn the algorithms just like you would learn division or how to add fractions you can solve this puzzle. so occasionally in the evenings i spend a little time learning the algorithms. i can do the bottom and first row. everytime. but thats as far as i have gotten yet. but i can always do it. one face one row. this moyu cube is shiny. it is really cool. but in the evenings when i have my room dimly lit it is really hard to see the colors. so this isnt an evenings with dimly lit ambience type of toy. its a daytime toy. so it has been moved to the shop. by the computer. this is a good place for it. hopefully, i will get to the second layer soon.

Very poor quality. Does not move smooth at all. Sticks and has 0 flow. Terrible.
