Follow the Science: How Big Pharma Misleads, Obscures, and Prevails

After reading a previous book by Sharryl Attkisson: “The Smear: How Shady Political Operatives and Fake News Control What You See, What You Think, and How You Vote”, I ordered this one immediately. I’m a practicing physician who began questioning not only the Covid 19 injection, (it is NOT a vaccine), but the whole vaccine industry during the Plandemic. I did not know about the SUPPORT Baby Oxygen study discussed in her book, but had a premature child when I was in training. No one knows the fears a parent faces when their newborn is premature and in an ICU unless they have walked a mile in their shoes. To be taken advantage of as she describes in the book is egregious. Parents in these situations are terrified and will do whatever the medical team says to do. The betrayal of trust she describes is hard to imagine. Just like the story about the drug for GERD in which a doctor told the parents after an endoscopy that the baby had erosive esophagitis and gave him a drug that killed him. The parents then read the medical record and found the endoscopy results were listed as negative. I looked up this Pediatrician and she is still out there practicing.The author has many links and on Page 112, there is a link for thimerosal containing vaccines on the CDC webpage. When I carefully typed the link, I was taken to a page that said: “This page does not exist.” So, apparently the CDC decided to remove it or create another link after this book was published which was just a few months ago. However, when you start looking at the question/answer section on the CDC site about Thimerosol it is listed as “safe” and not having any connection to “autism”. Nothing to see here folks. (Sarcasm intended). The book is an easy read, but full of horrifying stories. Prior to the Plandemic, I knew they were all about profit and after Vioxx and other drugs were taken off the market, I became more suspicious. But over the last four years I have had to accept there is something much more diabolical than them just wanting to make a buck. There is blatant evil and disregard for life, not just on the part of the Pharmaceutical Industry, but the FDA, CDC, NIH and others. Coming to this realization was not easy and has changed me immeasurably.Addendum: In chapter 14, Sharryl speaks at length about the Merck Manual. She described it as “relied upon by medical professionals who hold our lives in their hands.”A huge part of the problem is that most doctors never question recommendations by any government agency. I never did. Another huge problem is we were taught absolutely NOTHING about vaccines in medical school. When I did any Pediatric rotations, it was expected you would memorize the CDC vaccine schedule without questioning any of it. If I knew when my son was young what I know now, he would have NEVER received any vaccine. Ever. And trust me, I was trained in the traditional Western medical approach, so he received everything. I was not nor am I now a “anti-vaxxer”; I just want to see the safety studies. There are none. And that was confirmed in a deposition done by Aaron Siri with Dr. Stanley Plotnik who is world famous for his textbook on Vaccines.Now I know Preemies have an even higher incidence of the neurological and behavioral diagnoses associated with vaccine injury. Before, I just thought it was his prematurity that caused a lot of his developmental issues, now I don’t know for sure. And I am saddened that I may have added to his problems by rigidly following the dictates of an amoral medical system.I think everyone should read her book and I am so heartened by her, RFK, and many others who are now speaking up about the issues in her book, as well as, the pesticides and dangerous chemicals in our processed food. Moms Across American and The Highwire are doing a wonderful job, and so is Sharryl.Addendum: After reading Chapter 14, I have one criticism. She spoke at length about the Merck Manual describing its propaganda, and even said it “is relied upon by medical professionals who hold our lives in their hands.” Nothing could be farther from the truth; I am in practice 30 years and don’t remember the last time I looked at one. Nor do I ever hear other doctors mention it We look at a variety of resources and no one “manual” is the “Bible- as if to be followed religiously and without question, without thinking.” Those are direct quotes from the chapter which are completely unsubstantiated.

I have long been an advocate that our food and drug system are "DIRTY" .... this is pure proof !

This is a real eye opening read covering little known facts of our modern medical system. Suffice it to say, wellness doesn’t benefit the industry who profits greatly at our expense.

Sharyl Attkisson does a masterful job of laying out the case for massive changes to the way government, media and big pharma conspire to take advantage of the public's innocent trust in doctors and modern medicine. Enormous profits and the censorship industry combine to twist "science" beyond recognition to the detriment of our health and constitutional rights. In a similar fashion, Michael Lewis in "The Premonition" let readers understand some of the dark forces at work in our public health industry.

The information that Sharyl has so carefully researched and documented is shocking! Our health care system is riddled with so much greed and corruption and the public is suffering because of it. Everyone needs to read this book regardless whether they are anti-vax or pro-vax.

This book just reaffirms a lot of the ugliness of big Pharma and government. Just like the book "the real Anthony Fauci" This book just make me mad and aware of the corruption. It's an easy read and the pages just fly by.More people need to read this and open their eyes to what's going on.

Sharyl does a great job exposing the corruption in the pharmacy world. This book dives deep into the lies and half-truths of big Pharma and how the government helps keep it that way. This book is easy to read and follow. I took away a star because I was disappointed in how Sharyl does not include footnotes or references on such an important topic (with the exception of one chapter). I would love to have the references to share with friends/family who buy into the lies of big Pharma. Take a look at RFK's book "The Real Anthony Fauci". It has several references/footnotes on every page! That's how this book should be footnoted. I believe every word this book says but, come on Sharyl, give me the proof so I can expose this to my friends and family.

I purchased this as a Christmas present and they loved it; now the other family members want to read it too
