I had to make do with this set since I couldn't find the exact kind I wanted. Seems ok though, hopefully the ones I used out of this will take engine heat well.

These are exactly as you would find on most vehicles OEN setup. They are primarily designed to work with corrugated loom and have an interior rail that locks them into the corrugated ribbing so the loom doesn’t slide around as it does with a standard zip tie.The clamps themselves are easy to close and easier than most stock ones to undo for the removal of wire loom if needed. That said, they don’t seem like that will come off on their own easily.The kit comes with basically every size I have seen on cars and trucks, unless you drive a semi. For anyone working on engines these are great to have on hand because we all know the old ones get brittle and crack, or you just get frustrated and cut them off only to wish you hadn’t when putting things back together. With this set you can get it back to factory look. They are also easy to add to new wiring, you just need to drill the right hole and you can plug these right in to hold your wiring down.Great comprehensive kit with all the sizes and styles you could want!

* Overall Impression:-This is an excellent value for a good quality clip, loom and zip tie kit with a lot of styles and sizes included. It's a good variety and they are sturdy and well made and come in a storage case.-However, the plastic storage case is difficult to close. It's not hard to open, but it is hard to get securely closed. I found it so difficult to close that I ended up putting the case in a mesh plastic zipper bag of my own (not included) to secure it in case the case came open. The case is sturdy, but hard to get to stay closed.* Pros-what I liked and what worked well:-Excellent value for the quality, style, variety and all that's in the kit.-150 total items in the kit.-Zip tie variety and clip varieties included (see the pictures)-For automotive, marine and industrial uses.-Zip ties rated for temperatures between -40 F and 185 F.-Made of sturdy nylon.-Fits looms from 3/8" to 3/4".-10 different sizes of car clips included.-5 different sizes of wire loom clips included.-5 different sizes of auto push mount cable zip ties included.-Hard storage case included. (However it's difficult to securely close.)-The case has an inner paper (be careful it tends to fall out when you open it) that lists the sizes and items to make it easier to find what you need and see what's in the kit.-No odor on the case or items.* Cons-what I didn’t like and what didn’t work well:-The case is sturdy and overall a nice case. But it is very difficult to close and keep securely closed. The tab closure doesn't seem to work well and I really struggled to close it and keep it closed. Both I and my husband tried to close it and he found it difficult to close too. I ended up putting it in a heavy plastic mesh zipper closure bag (put the entire case in it) of my own just in case the case came open. I did get it closed, but it didn't really feel secure on one side. It was difficult to close on both sides, but one side was a bit worse. It is easy to open though.* Tips & Thoughts:-These are not standard zip ties. They are for specialized uses and applications for automotive and other industrial repairs.-Check the sizes and styles in the listing to be sure they will work for your use and application.

I’ve done a lot of bodywork on my pickup truck and powerboat. These clips and other fasteners come in handy. Recently I replaced the damaged tailgate on the pickup. This meant transfering the handle rods and side locks from the old to the new one. The wire rods ran through clips like the round ones, but over the years, these had broken and needed replacement. I found the right ones provided in this set and was able to install them by pushing the appropriate end through the hole in the sheet metal.I’ll also use these to organize and run wiring on my powerboat from one end to the other.I like the see-through plastic storage/organizer box they came in. As with many such boxes, one peeve is that the snap locks often don’t hold the lid down well. I keep some large rubber bands on hand for that and had to use one on this.Good set.

This is a very nice kit containing many of the clamping arrangements needed for securing harnesses in place. The clamp fastening feature is very secure. The TY wraps provide a various amount of tying options plus a lock option. Unfortunately, the case is flimsy and cheap and won’t close/lock properly. An alternative storage option is needed which is a drawback as the case has dividers and definitely intended to store the kit.
